what do you guys think about this alarm setup?
Ok so ive been searching for a few weeks and i think this is what i may do.
a Dei Avital 5303l = $131.44 shipped
with
a dei 522t Trunk Soleniod (for pop trunk feature) $20 ish
a dei 520t Backup Battery $20 ish
and a dei 530t Window system. $50 ish
what do you guys think or should i go with another alarm that has some of these items with included.
also would i need any relays or does that come with the alarm?
im installing this on a
95 2 door civic with power windows and sunroof (also with that window system can it close the sunroof also?)
also what would i need to get the remote start working on a manual tranny? just another addon package?
please any feedback is welcomed i really dont want to get a shitty alarm but i want something that isnt going to be much over $200 for everything

Any alarm system can be good. Its up to the install that proves if your car is there in the morning. If you buy that back up battery I bet 20 buxs it will not work. When you buy name brand. You are buying a alarm thats well built and reliable vs some pos asian wolf or ebay special.

DEI/Avital alarms are good alarms, ones from eBay may not be.
Unless you buy from an authorized dealer there is no guaranty that what you get is not a refurb, recalled for salvage, or even a real Avital, and even if it is a brand new, never been opened box, [bankruptcy buy or something], you will not get manufacturer's warranty.
The DEI 530T will do two windows up and down, you will need another module to do the sunroof.
If you want remote start I recommend you get a alarm/remote start combo unit that is compatible with a manual transmission.
I know of no alarm that has any of the mentioned "add ons" built in. 94
