new radio no SOUND HELP

new radio no SOUND HELP
had a stero issue and found out that it was the harness but broke the cd player in the process.... so got a new cd player hooked it up and still no sound then played with one of the speaker wires and got sound so i fin taping it up then put it in the din and tried it nothing.. then played with the rest of the wires and still nothing can someone help me

get a multimeter or test light and check the connections for the speakers, and if they're good then start testing others using the wiring diagram for the head unit, if you lost it then google the manual it'll probably come up

chances are one of your speaker wire connections are loose and touching the metal frame around the radio causing it to ground out. check your connections and make sure you solder or use crimp caps.
