Default Help with Viper 5901 Installation on 98 Civic

Using page 9 of this for my car: http://alarmsellout.com/support/diag...01988-2006.pdf

And for the Viper 5901 harnesses:
http://www.directeddealers.com/manua...2008_08web.pdf

So I've been trying to install the Viper 5901 on my 98 Civic since yesterday and so far I have these connected:

Viper 5901 -------------------Car's wire color
H1/2 12V CONSTANT INPUT -> White IGN wire
HI/3 SIREN OUTPUT -> Red wire from siren and grounded to bolt
H1/5 CHASSIS GROUND -> Grounded to bolt behind driver's kick.
H1/8 DOOR TRIGGER INPUT -> LT. Green/Red behind radio
H1/11 PARKING LIGHT OUTPUT -> Red/Black wire above fuse box

H2 NOT USED

Door lock harness, 3-pin connected
1] BLUE (+) LOCK (-) (Both from behind the radio's green harness)
3] GREEN (-) LOCK (+)

H3/4 STARTER OUTPUT (Connected to car side)
H3/5 STARTER INPUT (Connected to key side)

This is all I've connected for now, I just wanted to test out the lock/unlock with the remote.

I can hear chirp (or just a noise) coming from the siren when I plug the H1 harness into the brain, but the problem is, no light whatsoever on the control center ever turns on. When I measured the voltage across the command center, it read as ~5V. Is this right? Or should it be 12V?

Maybe I have to finish connecting all the other wires first?

From the sounds of this. Its not a planned out install. You have wires going all over the place.. But to answer your question. MAke sure the fuse is going into the 12 output on the brain.

Nevermind, used the old remote and everything worked fine for some reason. Now the 2 way one works perfectly as well.

Thanks anyways!
