Help :: Alarm malfunction
Never had a problem with alarm untill today.
usually when i turn on the alarm it beeps once and to disarm it beep twice. but the alarm doesnt beep at all anymore this morning. and i notice the LED stays on at all times unless i turn on the car. it usually blinks when alarm is active. now the only thing that works is unlocking and locking the door with the remote but LED is still on.
I armed it and when i unlocked the door with my key it didnt go off.
i turned on the panic button and that work.
does anyone know how to fix this problem?
i disconnected the battery for a few seconds and put it back together but same thing.

Re: Help :: Alarm malfunction
The alarm is in valet mode, only door locks, panic and trunk release, [if you have it] will work.
Take the alarm out of valet and you will be good to go. 94

Re: Help :: Alarm malfunction
It is normaly done with the ign. key and the valet/program switch/button on most alarms, with some alarm it can also be done with the remote.
Need to know the make and model of the alarm.
You can try turning ign. on and pressing and releasing the valet/program switch/button. 94
