my mom bought a used acura 2000 tl a couple of months ago. it didnt come with a remote, it only came with the key. im not sure if this has something to do with it but i change the battery on it and i didnt expect to mess the radio up and and now it reads CODE. i cant find the code anywhere, the previous owner probably lost it. so shes been driving the car for couple of weeks without a radio. we went out of town for a week and yesterday she just tried to start the car and the alarm just went off. i tried turning it off using the key by putting it to run but the alarm keeps on going off even when the engine is running.so i didnt know what to do with it and it was late at night so i just disconnected the battery. put it on again this morning the same thing. i just disconnect the alarm horn so now its not as loud but the car horn is still making noise and light are still blinking. is there any way i can reset the alarm? i really dont know what to do with it. any help would be appreciated.

How you get it fixed? I am also having the same problem.

turning the key to unlock in the drivers exterior key cylinder should disarm the system. as far as the code, check the back side of the face of your glovebox, or pop up the pass. side console woodgrain strip and look at the side of the radio face. if the code isnt there its possible the serial number is. if not youll have to pull the radio for the serial number.
