There is no lead for priority door unlock on 98 Accord, if you have that option with OEM remote it is done internally in the door lock control module.
You will need to add a SPDT relay to the drivers door actuator unlock lead.
Cut lead, connect actuator end to #30 other end to #87a 12V+ constant to #87 and #85, and priority unlock lead from alarm to #86. 94

Re: Having trouble finding the right wires. driver priority unlock for honda accord
thanks
i looked all over and i still can't find the other wires.. such as:
1. door trigger - it says on its passenger side, 4 plug connector... but in manual says its for dome light.. which one is the right one?
2. also, having problems finding emergency brake negative cable thats not near emergency brake
3. cant find parking lights either, need negative cable and nothing describes anything concrete
4. trunk - its says grey molex connector near drivers kick.. but i can't find it.. how many pins?
5. hood wire - says passenger side yellow cable, green connector.. but they're all green.. which one is it..
6. dome lights - again, as all other ones, i need negative wire
any help appreciated..

3. Any red/black wire in the car.
5. I think you have to install the switch for the hood
As far as the other's: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...tail/1038.html

5 installed the switch
4. used orange wire on 2 pin grey connector.. tested .01 at the most and negative at other times.. so it must be it.. the other wire is yellow.. i wonder if its for the hood
6. please don't tell me door trigger and dome lights are the same thing.. cause i spent a whole lot of time trying to figure that one out.. oh well..
its a 4 pin connector that tested positive so i'll have to use a relay, i can't find a way around it. factory plug has input for it put it still shows positive voltage at least .06 .08

Door trigger is black/white (-) found in pass. side fuse box, it will test as 12V+ with door closed, [dome light switched to "DOOR"] and as a ground when a door is opened.
Yes, door trigger and dome light are the same lead, a relay is needed to supply the ground for dome light supervision is a relay is not built into the alarm brain.
The hand brake, [emergency brake] lead is gray and can be found at switch at base of hand brake.
Park lights neg.(-) is red/yellow in steering wheel harness.
Trunk pin is blue or white in green 42pin plug on top of fuse box.
Hood pin is light blue or yellow/red at pin switch or front of fuse box, not avalable on all models.
All the above depends on exact model/trim level of your Accord.
What is the make and model of the alarm you are installing? 94

Re: Having trouble finding the right wires. driver priority unlock for honda accord
i'm installing compustar pro 2w900
i looked really hard for red/yellow on steering wheel harness.. where exactly? is taped to main ignition harness? i'll keep looking
also,
for i data link, requires data, sync which i can find and ignition wire which i'm not sure about.. or do i just connect it to any ignition wire?
there are 4 wires at key cylinder, red, blue which i know are data and sync... then yellow and brown - are any of these 2 ignition wires?

Alarm, remote start, or alarm/remote combo unit?
Find harness coming from light switch, red/yellow will be there.
Test the yellow and brown, on of them will be ign., you should be able to use any "true" ign., [hot in run and start].
Again..." All the above depends on exact model/trim level of your Accord" that was a question?

Re: Having trouble finding the right wires. driver priority unlock for honda accord
ok
everything works now except remote start
it gives me 3 flashes.. and on remote says error with door flashing.. any ideas?
i'm not sure if my door trigger is hooked up properly.. it displays 12 plus volts that changes from 12.3 to 12.4 if door is opened or closed
so it doesn't show if my doors are opened or closed
