Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
Hi i'm new to this of alarms so i was wondering if there's anything negative about hooking up a glass breakage and a proximity sensor?, i have a clifford matrix 12.5x alarm but i was reading this thread https://honda-tech.com/forums/audio-security-video-27/%5Bhow-%5D-car-security-1794938/
and says that only one of them could be plug, not both. I also have a tilt sensor a fuel kill switch and ignition kill attached to the armed when ground, so if somebody could help me please!!!Thanks

It locks but no unlock, you may have connected the wrong unlock wire, there is a normally closed and a normally open position (87 and 87A), make sure these are correct. What door lock wires did you connect to in the vehicle (location and color) ?
As for the door trigger, check all fuses (back up/dome light, etc), and make sure the dome light is in the "door" position, I have overlooked this myself.....

on the dei alrams the green/black is lock while the blue/black is unlock and thats the way i wired both to the actuaors, now on the dome light i'll have to check the fuses but i dont see why since before i'd wire them it was working perfectly.thanks, anybody else??

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
As mentioned, yes you can, you can connect up as many sensors as you want, although with a prox sensor, a glass break sensor is kind of redundant.
Keep in mind a diode is needed on all sensor trigger leads that go the the same input of the alarm, also a diode is needed for each "kill" relay controled by the alarms GWA lead, the diodes will prevent sensors and relays interfering with each other.
I have to agree with the others, your door lock problem is probably a miswire, test the cars leads you are connected to by supplying them a ground directly from the chassis, if doors lock and unlock you have the correct car wires and the problem is the alarm wires or the relay in the alarm.
As for the dome light, I also agree, make sure it is in the door position, also if it turns on with the switch, the fuse is good. 94

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
Did the alarm iluminate the domelight at one point, or is it completely non-functional now, even at the switch? Once you've checked the fuses and bulb itself, see what the bulb is rated at. Most dei's only give 200mA for the domelight, meaning 2.4 watts max for the bulb. Sometimes you can get away w/o a realy, but eventually the mosfet will burn up. You should be using a relay to ground the door trigger, with the relay's coil activated by the black/white wire (supervision).

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
Have you checked to see if the dome light is switched to "door"?
Have you checked the fuse, you may have blown the fuse while installing the alarm.
Did you test the cars door lock/unlock leads you connected to by grounding them directly to see if you have the correct unlock lead? 94

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
well i just found out that the light is coming on again once and i disconected the wire coming from the alarm, which is the green and the black and white is only hooked to this one too as one single wire thats how i copied it from suspended hatch in his website, then but i moved the fused box around a lil and thats how everything came on but now the dor light doesnt come when i open the doors only when i turn the switch to on for a couple of seconds it fu.k.n weird and i havent tried the door locks yet but i know iwired right green/black to lock blue/black to unlock brown/black and the other i dont rmrbr now to ground and the other two to 12 volt constant so i dont know why it does only locks when armed but doesnt unlock when disarmed, ill try to get a diagram of what im talking about.

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
Sounds like there is a connection problem at the fuse box, maybe a loose plug or corroded contact pins in one of the plugs, possible a loose fuse, [try wiggling the dome light fuse].
If this alarm is not in your EF then what is the MM&Y of the car?
Are the door locks stock, if so, none of the door lock wiring on the alarm goes to 12V+, you should be using "Wiring Diagram B, (-) Ground Pulses Driving Factory Relays" on page 11 of the install guide.
If they are aftermarket actuators, [door lock motors] the use, "Wiring Diagram D, Aftermarket Actuators" on page 12.
If the H1/9 black/white, [dome light supervision output] lead is used then make sure the H3/A black/white, [dome light supervision input] lead is grounded to the cars chassis properly. 94

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
yeah is in my ef and everything is wired besides the dome light wire, and they are aftermarket actuators, they are both conected to the corresponding wires but the only thing i didnt connect it was the lil wire that does the second unlock as the passenger i wired both to the main door lock actuators harness.

Re: Glass breakage and Proximity Sensor????
well after have everything figured out the car worked perfectly for one day started with no problems and all, now all of a sudden it wont even start it took several times for it to start and it stalled so i put more gas and it started but then when i tried to put it back in the garage it didnt start at all it just make a click noise coming from the starter, and i know is not it cuz i swapped it for a good one and nothing, so i think that one of the relays went out cuz of the two kill swithces hooked to them, (fuel and clutch wit the respective relay) and i know i did it right just like the suspended hatch thread says but now it doesnt do nothing ugh! i even want to sell the car now im tired of this crap with it, LOL! need help bad please.
