Default is my speaker rattling because of mounting, or because its broken

infinity kappa 62.7i
Power Handling, RMS 75 Watts
Power Handling, Peak 225 Watts
Sensitivity 94dB
Frequency Response 45Hz - 25kHz
Mounting Depth 2-3/16"
Impedance 2 Ohms

I have had these speakers mounted in my del sol for about a month now. They are in the factory locations. Only 1 of the 4 rattles. It is the speaker behind the passenger seat. I have a JVC head unit 50watts per channel. The rattling occurs during low to mid frequencies. Do i need some sort of padding? To my knowledge, the speaker is mounted correctly and not touching the chassis.

just to make sure its not something rattling, play some music and hold the metal around the speaker to see if it stops the noise, kinda like sound dampening. If it still happens, you might have blown the speaker.

Your not going to know unless you pull the speaker and test it.

BTW, you are way underpowered for those speakers, the JVCs 50W per channel, is max/peak power, JVC HUs are 4x20W RMS, and if the HUs constant power and ground are connected to the stock radio harness, it is unlikely that it is getting enough current to make even the 4x20W RMS.
My guess is that the speaker has a separated VC, [or partly separated], a common problem when under-powering speakers, or I should say, when driving an underpowered amp into clipping. 94
