Default Expected resistance for factory 96 tape player?

I am looking to delete the tape player, and trick the head unit into thinking its still there, allowing me to put my own input into the unit.

Basically right now I am stuck not knowing what resistance the head unit will be expecting to see to think there is a tape player plugged in to allow me to access it from the head unit.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Dan

Default Re: Expected resistance for factory 96 tape player?

Perhaps I should mention its a 96 Civic. And its a head unit with no built in tape player, the tape player is connected via a "cd changer" cable.
