ep3 people (speakers)...help
hi guys.
i just bought an 04 Si.
the car has no speakers, no tweeters.
i put a new model jvc head unit into it, but i dont know what to do with the speaker situation. im not even sure what size speakers to get (def not getting oem speakers)
i believe they are 6.5" all around...can anyone verify this?
and as for the tweeters...how are they wired to the system? does the car come with a oem crossover or something? sorry, i just dont know too much about electronics.
any help on this would be appreciated.
also...i am not looking to build a system, just a nice stereo and speakers, thats all.
hope that helps.

Re: ep3 people (speakers)...help
haha thanks, i already searched. turns out factory has 6.5 in the front but aftermarket 6.5s dont fit, so i got 5.25 components. but didnt hook up the tweeters cuz i dont wanna use the crossover...too much wiring and extra **** dangling in my door. im just gonna get oem tweeters. think thatll work right?

cross overs are easy to hook up. there's the input spot, which is the two wires on each side comming from the deck, the woofer, which is the mid piece, then the tweeter hook up may have several different pos. points depending on how loud you want the tweeter. i'm sure some one else can explain it better than i can but that's basically it
