dropping one DVC 4 ohm sub into 2 ohms
i have one 12'' american pro DVC 4ohm sub, and a profile clarus 640 4-channel amp stable at 2ohms. if i wire the sub in series, and bridge the channels, would i end up with a 2ohm load?

go to http://www.jlaudio.com they have a tutorial wiring guide look that up and it will save some headaches dealing with series wiring and parallel wiring hth

yea but i need to be in 4ohms before bridging, so then it would be 2 ohms

look into running the subs in a series rather than parallel.this way you will have an 8 ohm load and it will bridge down to 4.
