Default Car wont start after alarm install

Recently I installed a Viper 5706V alarm in my 98 EX and I believe all the wires are connected properly but the car wont start. It is a Remote start system. Using information from searching forums and 12 volt.com i found all the wires that i believed were for the system. After i finished the install i attempted to start the car with just the key and it didnt work. The car will crank but not start. The alarm has power, door locks work, and it arms. Because it is a remote start system i attempted to place it in valet mode hoping that maybe that would solve the problem it didn't. To verify the wiring i have hooked up:

Constant 12V+ White Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to (Red/White (Fused 12V Ignition 2), Red/Black (Fused 12V Accessory/Starter Input), Red (Fused Ignition 1 Input), Red (Constant 12 volt input))

Starter Black/White Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to(Violet (Car Side) Starter Output, Green(Key Side)Starter Input)

Ignition Black/Yellow Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to (Pink Ignition 1 Input/output))

Ignition 2 Yellow Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to(Pink/White (Ignition 2/Flex relay output))

Accessory White/Black Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to (Orange (Accessory Output)

Tach Blue Drivers side shock tower
Hooked up to Tach test connector (Violet/White)

Neutral Safety Wire Black/Blue (-) Not Hooked up

Brake Switch Green/White Brake Switch above brake pedal
Hooked up to Brown (Brake Shutdown Input)

I was going to bypass the Violet and green wires for the starter but the starter cranks. Has anyone ever experienced this before or heard of it. I'm at a loss and really dont want to remove anything.

you have these 2 wires switched..

Ignition 2 Yellow Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to(Pink/White (Ignition 2/Flex relay output))

Accessory White/Black Ignition Switch Harness
Hooked up to (Orange (Accessory Output)

accessory is yellow and should be hooked up to orange
ign 2 white/blk hooked up to pink/white

Neutral Safety Wire Black/Blue (-) Not Hooked up - needs to be hooked up to ground or ebrake in order or remote start to work.

also if you have a test light or volt meter check for power at your ignition blk/yellow to verify power.

Have you changed the remote start programming from "manual" to automatic" trans? See page two of the quick reference guide I attached "Programming System Features". Follow those instructions to access "Menu 3 - Remote start" and change "Menu Item 1 transmission mode" from manual to automatic. If that doesn't fix it, below are a few things to try/check.

Remote start the car, let it make its three attempts to start. When it's done, do the shutdown diagnostic to see if it will give you a reason. Copy and paste the directions here:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remote Start Shutdown/Startup Diagnostics
To perform shutdown diagnostics:
1. With the ignition Off, press and hold the Control button (on Control Center).
2. Turn the ignition On and then back Off while holding the Control button.
3. Release the Control button.
4. Press and release the Control button. The status LED flashes to report the last
shutdown for one minute or until the ignition is turned on, as shown in the
following table:

Status LED Flashes Shutdown Mode
1 flash Runtime expired
2 flashes Over-rev shutdown
3 flashes Low or no RPM
4 flashes Transmitter shutdown (or optional push button)
5 flashes (+) Brake shutdown
6 flashes Hood shutdown
7 flashes Timer mode/Turbo mode/Manual mode error *
8 flashes Neutral safety shutdown
9 flashes Low battery (voltage mode)
10 flashes Alarm triggered **
11 flashes Wait-to-start input timed out
* Timer mode error: Ignition is on or shutdown input is active when activating
timer mode.
Turbo mode error: Turbo mode is programmed off, engine is not on or shutdown
input is active.
Manual mode error: MTS mode not enabled.
** Alarm was triggered during remote start sequence.
Startup Diagnostics: If the vehicle fails to activate the remote start, the remote start
module will notify you via parking light flashes on the vehicle to identify the no-start
situation.
Parking Light Flashes
5 flashes Brake wire is active
6 flashes Hood pin wire is active
7 flashes Manual transmission mode is enabled and not initialized.
8 flashes Neutral safety wire has no ground or the neutral safety
switch is Off.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If that doesn't get you anywhere, check these connections:

Main Harness, 6-pin connector
1-Is this wire connected to 12v constant(white wire at the ignition)

Auxiliary/Shutdown/Trigger Harness, 24-pin connector
13-Is this wire connected to the parking brake or straight to ground?(If not do so)

Also.....the Neutral Safety switch must be plugged in and in the ON position

Default Re: Car wont start after alarm install

Thank you so much for the info. I sat here all night scratching my head as to what it could be. I havent even tried to remote start it. I only tried to start it with the key. My thoughts were the alarm was preventing the start but my thought process was it couldn't be because the starter engages and it cranks but there isn't any start. Basics of electical input, spark, air, and fuel led me down the path of the other things. So after I checked voltage at the starter and spark plugs all of which tested fine I went to the injectors and it was a no go. So I tracked down the manual and started digging. Found the pgm fi relay behind the glove box wasn't engaging. Easy test was there wasn't a fuel pump sound when Turing the ignition on. So I purchased a new relay 50 bucks at the local auto parts store and will be hooking it up tonight. When my friend and I removed the dash to stealth install the alarm he didn't tell me he bent the pins on the relay when he pulled his side out. I hope that this will solve the problem and then I can move on to whether or not the car remote starts. As for the ground for the parking brake I haven't hooked that up because I couldn't locate the wire that goes to the gauge cluster to illuminate the brake light. I'll look into those other ignition and accessory wires. As for the programming it is set to manual so I will see if everything works when I go to start it remote. **UPDATE** The PGM FI Relay was the culprit. The car started right up with the key now to hook up the remaining wires and test the remote start. Again thank you MotoCARR and k than for your replies they were useful.
