Default Bass blockers And tweeters

im about to purchase alpine sps 610c. the tweeters come with inline crossovers. I heard that the tweeters are harsh and is fixed by adding a 3.3 fared bass blocker.

My question is do i install bass blocker inline with the crossover or do i cut off the crossover and install the bass blocker only?

"Bass blockers" do exactly as the name describes.....block bass.....which isn't much help on a tweeter when trying to get rid of the harsh/piercing sound some make. You'll need to adjust the treble setting on the radio.
