Any of you guys install the DEI 504M shock sensor?
I just ordered one from ebay, it is a shock sensor that can be used on OEM alarm systems. Anyone have any feedback on the sensitivity or problems during the install?
edit: mase\vapor plz move to audio\video\security

I'm using whatever one came with my pager alarm and I think it's great. A light (but obvious) tap will set off the warn-away feature...like a tennis ball or whatever smacking the car... a harder tap will set off the full blown alarm immediately...or repeated soft taps.

I'm asking about the 504M specifically because it wires into OEM alarms. Thx for the info though.

Yeah I understand that part but how would you go about making the parking lights flash a few times or make the horn\siren chirp a few times? Do you need a seperate module or can you use relays\diodes\resistors somehow?
