Default Alarm Install help, stuck on door locks FCM, Suspendedhatch replies appreciated

Hi, Well I finally set aside some time to clean up the mess of an alarm i used to have. I have set aside 3 days to get this done.

Car is an Integra

SO far I have
Hooked up power
Hooked up door trigger
Hooked up Boot Trigger

I then went ahead and removed the old alarm which has now left me with a clean area under the dash to work with.

I am trying to get the door locks working before I move any further, or do I need to hook up the ignition wire before this can be done ?

Ok I am using the previous aftermarket solenoid which has two wires coming out of it.

My alarm has the following wires,

Wires on alarm loom:
Orange-unlock NO, Blue-unlock COMMON, Brown-unlock NC, black-ground when armed, White-lock NC, Green-lock COMMON, Purple-lock NO, Yellow-2 stage unlock.

Can someone please guide me as how to hook this up please ?

2ndly what is a ground when armed and where should i look for this on the loom ?

Third light flashers.
My alarm has two fused cable for flashing the hazard lights, can I hook these both up to the red/black cable in the door sill to flash all the turn signals.
There is also a cable that keeps the harards on for 15secs, can i hook this wire up to the same red/black cable ?

Lastly.
There is a cable that keeps the dome light on for 10 secs, can I hook this cable up to the same cable I used as the door trigger cable light green/red without affecting anything.

I appreciate any replies

I'm guessing your integra came with power door locks or does it have actuators.
If it already came with power door locks, the wires require a negative pulse to lock/unlock your doors. Use a multimeter and test to see which wire is lock and which is unlock. As far as the wiring off your alarm, the green is your lock wire and blue is your unlock wire. You need to connect the purple and orange wire to a ground ONLY IF you lock/unlock wires require a negative pulse (you will not need the brown and white wires), otherwise connect it to a 12V source (it should only need a 12V source if actuators are used and if so connect the brown and white wires to ground.)

ground when armed wire, is mostly used for a starter-kill relay, i'm not sure if you is already built into the alarm, you the relay was supplied with the alarm.

the two wires for your parking lights MIGHT be one might be an input (telling the alarm whether it should output 12v or ground) and other may be an output (going towards your parking lights).

the dome light wire CAN be hooked up to your door trigger as long as it alarm outputs a negative signal on the dome light wire. from what i remember the integras have a negative pulse door triggers.

What is the make and model of the alarm, [do you have a link]?

Your alarm has door lock relays built in, forget about the black and the yellow, you do not need them for the door locks, the blue unlock common and the green lock common go to the door lock actuators, ["aftermarket solenoid"] one wire from each actuator, [same colors] go to the blue lead and the other wire from each actuator goes to the green lead, do not let the wire colors worry you except that you must use the same color from each actuator, make that connection temporary for now, unless you know which wire from the actuator is unlock and which is lock, [that will depend on how the actuator is installed].

Now ground to chassis the brown unlock NC and the white lock NC, they are now supplying a ground to both leads of the actuator through the blue and green C leads.

Now connect the orange unlock NO and the purple lock NO leads to 12V+ constant, don't forget to install a fuse, if they do not have one already

C = common
NC = normally closed
NO = normally open

When relays are at rest. [not energized] the commons are connected to the NC, when you arm or disarm the alarm one of the relays will be energized, [turn on] braking the connection between the C and the NC and connecting the C to the NO, and because the NO is connected to 12V+ the actuators now has a ground and 12V+ and will move in one direction, the relay is only energized for 1 sec. or less, when you arm or disarm the next time the other relay is energized and actuator moves in other direction, [standard polarity reversing system]

Wiring is the same as this... http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#arp

30 is the common
87a is the normally closed
87 is the normally open
85 and 86 are connected internally in your alarm.

The ground when armed wire is used for a immobilizing relay like starter cut.

The 2 fused "hazard flash" leads can be connected together and plugged into the park light free pin in the under dash fuse box

the cable that keeps the hazards on for 15 sec., [15 sec. when, when you arm the alarm or disarm it], had is it high current or low current, [does it need a relay]

The "dome light supervision" lead on most alarms are low current and a relay is needed, the relay would be used to supply a ground for the dome light and yes it can be connected at the same place the alarms door trigger was connected.

Do you have a link for a wiring diagram for the alarm, or can you post a pix? 94

The alarm is a Mongoose M80, but wiring diagrams for it aren't available online from what I have searched.

I will take a scan of the wiring chart to show you guys.

Also all relays are built in.

The hazard stays on when disarmed like a perimter light i guess, i don't have to install it but i think it would be nice to have.

Will try to work some more on it this weekend and see how it goes, im back at work

Thanks for all the help guys,

I went out and trialled the wire connections, they all seemed to work out fine.

Ill finish it off this weekend, have to clean up the mess under the dash before I go any further

My problem is pretty much the same as his, I can't get the door locks working. I wired my lock common to the green/white wire and the unlock common to the green/orange wire. I ground out the NO's and didn't use the NC's. I dont understand why it's not working.

Also, a relay came with my alarm. What do you guys think it hooks up to, the dome light? Or is it maybe a starter kill? It has 2 thick green wires, and two small wires, one yellow one orange.
