Default alarm draining my battery?????

after i got my alarm installed my car battery now needs to be kept on a battery tender or it will die if the car is not started in a few days. it is a viper alarm and was installed with a fuel cut and ecu cut. originally before the rain messed it up it also was installed with a back up battery siren. but i changed it to a regular one and it only connects to 2 f the 3 wires. pease any sugestions of how to fix this, i am sick of having to leave my car on a battery tender.
thanks

Your sure it is the alarm that is drawing excessive current?

Has it done so since it was installed?

Who installed it?

Does it have to be armed to drain the batt.?

Have you had the batt. tested? 94

it started doing it after i got the alarm installed. i figured it was my battery so i got a oddesy pc 680... still does it whether or not the alarm is armed..

but i did have a gps tracking thing in my car that i thought could have been doing it also. so i pulled off the main module for that, but it did not make a difference.

the owner of a local race shop did the install. he used to do installs for circuit city back in the day

I would be going back to the "local race shop" and have him take a look. 94

What gps system, If its the cell phone ideal. I bet I all ready figured out the problem. I been getting alot of im's and calls about people battery going dead. Reason 1. Its the dam cell phone battery charger. And with the small battery that you have. Its going to die. A cell phone charger will kill the battery in a day or two if the car is not started. Or if you have weak battery from the start. A cell phone charger was never ment to stay pluged up for days on ends and pull alot of amps off the battery. And if the phone goes on roam it pull even more power. And that power has to come from somewere. your battery. You have so many things that can be wrong. Your best bet is to do a voltage drop and figure out what pulling all the power. If your alarm kill switch is wired to be powered while armed this can cause this too.

It could be that one of the relays used for the fuel or ecu kill is constantly energized.
