6.5" speakers in 92 Civic 4 door?

I used to have a 94 Accord sedan and I still have the speakers from it. They are four 6.5" Alpine Type-Rs. Now I have a 92 Civic sedan and I want to put the Apline speakers in it. Is there any way to get the 6.5"s to fit? I think the stock ones are 5.25".

92 Civics use standard 6.5" speakers, [5" mounting hole diameter, 2" mounting depth. 94

use a wood ring to make it fit proper!

You might have a little bit of a issue getting those type r's to fit in the front doors. You'll definitely need at least a 3/4" ring/spacer to mount the speaker to the door. You can buy a abs speaker spacer or use MDF and make a ring yourself.
