5 wire driver door lock actuator???
I pulled a blackwidow 4150 alarm out of my old crx that the previous owner wired wrong along with a door lock kit thats using a DEI 451m relay.
I found instructions for the wiring of the alarm online but can't figure out the door lock actuator. The passenger actuator only has 2 wires, a blue and green wire which i'm assuming is a reverse polarity set up but the driver actuator is what I can't figure out. It has 5 wires (blue, green, brown, white, black). I'm assuming the blue and green are again to lock unlock the doors but what the hell are the other 3 wires for. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and I searched too. Thanks

Probably OEM replacements that the previous owner had extra's of
this might be helpful http://ccs.exl.info/locks.html
Personally I would toss the the five wire and go with a two. They are cheap.
Edit: What I meant was aftermarket OEM replacements. Which means they were designed to work with OEM car alarms.

Re: 5 wire driver door lock actuator??? (nsxxtreme)
Hey thanks for replying but i'm pretty sure it's an aftermarket actuator and physically looks the same as the passenger side actuator which is 2 wire. If i'm not mistaken when I would lock or unlock the driver door manually the passenger door would automatically do the same. Is it possible that those 3 extra wires somehow tap into the passenger actuator? Any help is greatly appreciated

While we are on the subject. Do you have a diagram of this in action. I have 2 wire actuators for the saturn's door locks. I was thinking I may be able to use a relay to reverse the polarity so I can lock and unlock.

Most GM cars use a 5 wire reverse polarity door lock system. I dont understand why you would need relays on your Saturn to lock/unlock. Does your Saturn have factory power door locks? If that is the case most alarms should cover the different types of door locks systems from the different car manufacturers.
