2005 Acura RSX factory alarm problem
I just had installed a Viper 5002 in my 05 rsx (base) and after i got home, the alarm went off. I disarmed the viper, but the horn kept honking, very loudly, and lights were going on and off. I had to disconnect the negative battery terminal to quiet it, but also could take out the horn fuse. My installer must have forgot to bypass the factory alarm.
I want to disarm the factory alarm, and wouldnt mind uninstalling it if i can do it easily.
Does anyone know what i need to do to disarm the alarm? And if you know how to make it compatible/remove it, that would be great. Havent found any answers..
Thank you!!

Re: 2005 Acura RSX factory alarm problem (Tyler Con)
It does sound like the installer did not connect up the factory alarm disarm lead.
the Vipers H2/8 [light green/black factory alarm disarm] lead needs to be connected to the white wire at stock alarm module to the left of steering column.
I would keep the stock alarm as a back up alarm, you have already seen how effective it is when it is a backup to an aftermarket alarm.
