Default 2 ohms with monoblock amp?

I'm confused about someting.

I have a Kicker Solo-Baric L7 12" DVC sub, 2 ohms. I'm getting a Kicker kx600.1 monoblock amp that's 2 ohm-stable. How do I wire the amp with the woofer so it will run at 2 ohms, even though it's only one speaker? I couldn't really find it in the FAQ. Any help is much appreciated.

is that kicker 2 ohms run in parallel with 4 ohm coils, or is it 2 ohm coils?

if its 4 ohm coils, you can just parallel the two coils and run it ot the amp. The system will be runinng at 2ohms

if the kickers dual 2 ohms, then you cant wire it to run 2 ohms. you'll only beable to wire them together to run 4 ohms or 1 ohm.if your amps a mono amp most mono amps run stable at 2 ohms. but there are some amps out there that are 1 ohms stable. what you should of done if bought a kicker that daul 4 ohms, that way you can wire them together to run 2 ohms. But as of right now there no way to run 2 ohms with your set up

Hes correct. If you have a dual voice 2ohm L7, then your not in a very good boat to be in. You want a 4ohm dual voice coil so that you can wire them up into a 2ohm load (parallel).
