Place for tweeters?
so, in the vast knowledge of honda-tech, i am asking for a good location for tweeters in my car. I have the manual mirror door sails, and was considering removing the little handle that adjusts them, and doing something with those, but that's a good bit of work if something like that already exists.. anyone have tweeters installed? i'm looking for something close to OEM, but doesn't have to be.

For best imaging/sound quality, the tweeters need to go as close to the mid as possible... Kick panels are great, or you could build a pod on the door...

Re: (rdeezy78)
i didn't do this w/ last install but kinda wish I would have....installer is 1.5 hours away so made it kinda tough. anyway, put on blindfolds and have someone play around with location. A-pillars, down in kicks, etc. and see what sounds best. you gotta find the right music as well depending on how serious you are about SQ. i've currently got my tweets in A-pillars and mids down in kicks and mid-bass in factory locs and there are a few tracks where I can tell the highs are coming from above while the vocals are coming from below. i've got to be listening really really closely and it's got to be just the right track to hear this effect though.
the reason I say you should do it blindfolded is at least for me knowing speaker position would bias me. there's 'theory' and there's 'reality'.....for some reality is theory while in other cases reality trumps theory and you just go with what makes the most sense and throw theory to the wind.
just depends on how far you want to push the SQ boundaries. I'm not incredibly proud I have to rely totally on time-alignment to get my stage right but for now that's what I have to rely on. theory says I shouldn't have such speaker placement but to be honest I'm incredibly happy and my installer is very knowledgeable about the dyn product line and integras in general so I went with his suggestion.
