07 civic rear speaker issues. I can't turn bass on at all?
I have an 07 civic si. The stock rear speakers sound fine at very low volumes and when the bass is at -6. however if I turn volume or bass up it starts distorting the sound completely. I tried replacing a speaker thinking they both had gone bad. So the new speaker has the same issue. My factory sub won't work either(don't know if that helps). The radio and all the speakers are stock. But I'm just trying to get my two speakers fixed right now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Probably dumping too hard, and fucked up the amp channels for them. Was you dumping too hard??
Put the front speakers on the back and see if it does the same thing. If so, your amp or headunit is fucked up on them channels.

Your amp is fudged. Put the back speakers on the front and see. If same thing, then you need to looking for another amp. Did this start out of nowhere?

I just bought the car and it came like that. Right now I've got a line converter connected to the two rear speaker factory wire. Since my last post I've replaced all four speakers and ordreed an additional amp(just wanted to upgrade completely) but I'm using the line converter will that mess this up?
