One of the best cars I ever owned was a 2004 Honda S2000. While it didn’t have the 9,000 RPM redline of the AP1 2.0L engine, it still was a healthy 8,250. It also was still an absolute hoot to drive and I miss the car dearly. The exposure to that car also made me appreciation the S cars that came before it, including the S600 and S800. Forum member BMS250FORD also is a fan of the classics, and picked up a S600 for a full off-frame restoration of the sexy coupe.

This car seemed to be in pretty good shape when it was purchased, which means it looks like it was fairly complete. The car, of course, still showed signs of its age but there are a few things that are pretty special about it. Even though the car appears to have been repainted at some point in its life, the color was a rare color offered that year. Additionally, according to another eagle-eyed forum reader, this particular car was the 4th to the last car producedĀ in 1965.

Click the link below to check out the entire restoration thread, which is pretty exhaustive as BMS250FORD wants to keep it as original as possible. Also, be sure to chime in and let us know what you think!
