If you’re in the market for a clean, unmolested S2000, you already know how hard they are to come by. Most of them have been tinkered with – either with a few mods like coi-lovers, wheels, and an exhaust to full blown time attack builds. However, there are some out there that are bone stock, unicorns if you will. Recently, this 2003 Berlina Black AP1 with 71,520 miles on the odometer, located in Jacksonville, FL, popped up on Bring a Trailer. Starting bid: $13,000. If that didn’t already get you excited, there’s a cherry on top – it has an OEM hardtop.

For the most part, the car is basically stock minus some cosmetic modifications such as black side badging, clear side markers, and red painted front brake calipers. The AP1 has a clean title and comes with a Carfax. When you ask a Honda enthusiast which S2000 he/she prefers, the answers are usually split down the middle. Half wanting the AP1, the other wanting the AP2. If you ask me, I’ll take AP1. Why you ask? 9,000 RPM.

Update: The AP1 sold rather quickly (not surprised) for $15,250 after 9 bids. Congratulations to the new owner! Please don’t mess her up. Though this was quite a nice find, I know there are others out there. Happy hunting!
