Weak!EG's re-build thread.
Well, after a lot of thought and looking at my hatch I decided that even though it was never driven it needed a face lift to bring it up to date. The bay wasnt as flawless as I wanted it, and there are some new things I want to weld up and fabricate myself as my knowledge and ability has greatly grown since my first build.
The body of the car was far from flawless, in person it had A LOT of sanding scratches in the paint under the clear and the gold flake sat in them and showed badly in the sunlight. The 1/4 panels and doors also weren't properly blocked out so it wasn't as great as I wanted.
Now, on to the fun stuff. The car build is back in full effect and have decided to keep the "show" scene but also going to prep the car for the track as I plan on having a lot of seat time in the future. Now on to the to do list.
//Bay//
1)fill in the 7 dimples that remain where the studs used to be.
2)weld some metal in the front of the driver side mount and smooth it out.
3)cut off, and box in front lower radiator support.
4)mount remote terminals.
5)shave holes for clutch fluid res. mount and the hood prop/stay.
6)shave intake hole.
7)new brake line setup.
8)new clutch line setup.
//Interior//
1)drill center bracket for back seat mount.
2)weld all holes where seat belts, etc. used to mount and grind smooth.
3)stitch weld rear interior.
4)weld 10 point full roll cage in.
//Exterior/Other//
1)weld off door indicator switch in door jambs.
2)weld plates where rear hatch wires used to run.
3)shave license plate holes on front bumper.
4)block sand the crap out of the whole car over and over.
and after this stuff is done the whole car will be getting a fresh re-spray a new color.
Stay tuned, the work has just gotten started. Here are the last few pics taken of the car before I decided I wasnt happy with it.
this thread may move slowly at times due to the integra being built also but it will be good

The car itself was finished for the first build. I just never wasted my time putting the motor in since I wasnt happy with the body. It's being re-built with more things going on and more parts.

Re: Weak!EG's re-build thread.
Okay, so after a FULL day of block sanding OVER and OVER and OVER... The doors and quarters are starting to look great and all the shiny areas are gone. Went all the way down to the original paint in some areas because the waves were so bad After the car is smooth this way, I will be throwing a coat of primer, guide coat it and block it one final time before paint.
Got the interior completely stripped for the most part.
To end the day I cut off the front lower radiator support and started to prep the car for the traction bar setup and intercooler mounting etc. Still have to finish up the passenger side. Also got started on re-doing the shaved bay
Old vs. New

Re: Weak!EG's re-build thread.
CHASEBAYS FTW!.. ordered a wilwood master cylinder with booster delete plate for my car and a clutch line, fuel line kit for the integra yesterday around 4pm and it was here on my desk at 10am.
I'm mailing Chase my cabin harness in the morning to have it re done deleting all the ECU wiring and other un used wires since my new milspec harness goes straight to the ECU and i have a lot of things deleted.. and It will be re-sleeved in Raychem with yellow tags to complete the job

Re: Weak!EG's re-build thread.
Chase sells the booster deletes for $225, and he has them in stock now.
As far as the rack, it came in my car. It's a CX so it had no power steering.
Spent a lot of time in the bay yesterday, got about 3/4's of it down to the bare metal to start over on my shave and do a few new things. I also mounted my remote terminals and drilled the hole for my milspec harness connector.
Derek from ALL IN FABRICATION is making me a custom catch can setup and sending me an s2k clutch master cylinder spacer plate for the car
Brand new OEM s2k cmc is on the way to go with the plate, and the car is going for some welding and media blasting in the next couple of days
