Default JDMTyler EK Build (gotta bring it back to life again)

I am going to start off by saying, yes I did ruin this car but now that I got a new job and im not jobless anymore it's time to bring the car back to life and into my dream ek hatch. I am still in high school so its a part time job right now but I will make the car look good again!

Picked it up for 4700, needed tires very badly. Also needed a new passenger side fender it got back into.

Got little bored one day and decided to paint the rims.

This is when I started to ruin the car. I lost my job and that's when I started to struggle but I didn't want to get rid of the car. I traded my rims for some white LS webs with good tires.

Got bored of the White and polished them

Decided to lower the car and the lip had a bunch of chips in it so i wrapped it in some cool tape haha.

Then the tires got bad on the LS Webs because I was getting really bad camber wear on my tires, so I had to throw steelies on it.

Then my front lip fell off and I ran it over so I picked up a cheap mugen lip.

Then it was raining one day and I couldn't stop in time (bad tires) and I went into the side of a truck. Took my mirror right off (no pictures).

Last snow storm was driving down the road and i heard my car run something over and I look back and there goes Lip #2.

Here is how the car stands right now.

Car needs A LOT of work. Problems that I need to figure out.
- Speed-O works when it wants too most of the time it's stuck at 20mph?
- Window Wipers keeps blowing fuses
- Dash light no longer work? (happened yesterday)

My plans are too:
- Fix problems above
- Get tires and nice set of rims
- And then go with the flow and see what I want to do to it.

Mods-
JDMB16a
-BML Header
-BuddyClub Straight Pipe
-Auto Zone Intake
-Type R Cam
-Skunk2 Coilovers and LCA

Some Videos I have of it...

Cold Start hitting two step

Quick Little Pull 5mph-105mph

Had some free time today so I worked on the hatch a little.

The broke mugen lip.

Sprayed it white, its a little off from the car but still looks good and I zip tied it together.

The dirty motor

Cleaned it up a little with some water

Dash board was a mess.

Back seats and hatch was a mess

Never really have people in the back seats so I went for the gutted look. Really gotta do something so its all one matching color.

The front bumper and grill is held on by them. It looks ghetto as hell. Going to junk yard and getting some bolts or pins whatever they are to fix that.

Next I gotta figure out what I can tuck in my motor bay, never done anything like that before.

Update I started my car yesterday and I had it running for about 30 seconds then it turned off and never turned back on. So I took my battery to auto zone so they could charge it. It was at 220 out or 420, it got charged back up to 390 so I put it back into my car to see if it was going to start and I got nothing. All it is doing is cranking, going to check it out tomorrow couple of my buddies coming over and we are going to try and get it running. One says it could be i'm not getting any spark, could be dizzy. I don't think it's my alternator or starter because they are fairly new. Hopefully I get this figured out.

After I get my car running again I want to start working in the interior. I am going to keep the hatch gutted from the front seats back but I don't know if I want to keep side panels or not.

I am going more towards keep side panels and just cleaning them up. Then paint the area a glossy black.

Take the oil cap off and see if the cams are moveing while it cranks, I just had this exact issue with a friends car. Swapped out three distributors still no spark, ended up being the timing belt it snapped! Hopefully it's not that but it's a quick way to check is ur belt is okay.

Update:

Got the car back on the road a while ago. Been running strong. Still have couple little problems
-Windows keeps falling off and won't go all the way up.
-Speed-O is working when it wants to and when it doesn't work it stays at 20mph
-The window wipers keeps blowing fuses.

Here is some updated pictures.

Picked up some fat fives.

Got my side fender painted and painted my wheels. And took my ghetto front lip off.

Then how it stands now.

stop worrying about front lips, and painting and trading wheels, and fix all the problems with the car first

you cant keep modding a car that has so many problems its just going to get worse, fix all the problems and get the car running good then start modding it

o and its super dumb to two step on a cold motor
