Time for a new engine swap *pics*
Ok for starter i have a 97 ex coupe w/ Ls swap. A couple weeks a ago my timing belt crap out on me as u can see below. Bented a bunch of valves so now its time for a new engine.
Sucks because this was my daily driver to school and work.
My car
Cheap belt from Advance Auto Parts this is only about 65k miles on it
Ordered a few parts from Majestic
My new engine of choice is a B20b from hmotorsonline.com and being shipped as im writing this up. In the mean time i been taking things apart trying to get it ready.
I figured i take one of these too sence everyone has one.
***Ok this is for those of you that might be still confuse about what mounts and bracket to use.You will need these first before even try to start this type of swap.***
First is the driver side engine bracket. You can get this from an 99-00 Si.
Next is the rear engine/tranny bracket thats by the firewall. Also from a 99-00 Si.
And lastly you can reuse the D-series tranny bracket. I think there might be other ways to make this part work but, this is the way i did mines.
The engine mounts of choice that i got are these.I hope that help answered some question for some of you.
Many more update w/ pic soon.

Yeah I tolled her home change the belt and did a compression test.Cylinder 1 & 4 was +/-165, cylinder 2 & 3 was like 30 or 40 psi .I could of just got a new head but i knew the rings was bad also(burning oil). So i figured i just buy a new engine for it.

Yeah they did, well they were on crates and wraped real tight with foam and plastic. I tore them off to get it on the truck.
Not much more updates going on. Still waiting on the Innovative motor mounts to arrive. A few more honda parts did come in.
