91 civic sedan budget build. **update Feb 2**
i figure sooner or later the car will be on the road so i'll play along and set one of these guys up.
1991 Honda Civic dx
5spd
manual everything.
297xxx kms
bought for $800
the plan for this car is to make a low and slow daily driver. i've never been part of the honda scene and this is my first ever honda build.
so lets start.
After picking her up.
started working on her immediately
went to the local pick a part for some parts, and $240 later i came back with odds and ends including this trunk set up
then got to cleaning the bay which looks like it was neglected from the day the car was bought.
then found all of this for $100 off craigslist
Jan15 ~~~~~~*updates*~~~~~~
enter Coils!!!!
Progress Tuning series II coilover system
running a 450/350 spring rate.
installed
Thule Roof rack bought off craigslist.
and my "I heart ef" sticker on my buddies evoX
*** Update Jan 22 ***
removed the tint with the o'll steamer method
and started to dremel and mock up my EK side skirts
***Updates Feb 2***
Finally got it on the road and insured.
car is about 90% done, just a little bits here and there and final fit and finish
i'll probably pull out my dslr in the spring when i fit my wheels.

Looks like you are a few steps ahead of me, AND a few dollars richer. I'm in a similar boat but spent 1200 for mine and just had to replace the battery and alternator.

Build looks good so far. I've always liked EF sedans. I recently saw one at a meet that had a total "rat rod" look to it and there was always a crowd around it.
