So here's the story behind this one.
I woke up yesterday to cops knocking on my door. My cousin who wrecked my sedan had secretly called down his side of the family from Maine to try an secretly take the EK Coupe he gave me in replacement of my Sedan while I was sleeping yesterday morning.
Cliffs:
- This past saturday he signed the title to me.
- Title was in my girls car locked up.
- Before she went to work, he asked for his copy AND my copy. She didnt know why they were locked up.
- I woke up to a cop knocking on my door asking for the key to the ek coupe.
- Completely unaware of the situation and how much of a piece of **** my cousin was, I told the cop I had a title post dating his title.
- Needless to say, he con'ed my girl out of my title for the car earlier that morning and made it disappear.
- I did not release the key until his mother transfered $2800 in cash as replacement value to the Sedan. Mind you, I kept the Sedan too.
- I released the car after explaining what a sneaky piece of **** he was to his side of the family.
- Later on in the evening, I realized, he left back for Maine with a MVR-4 form while the original title is being mailed to my house. For those of you who do not know, the MVR-4 is useless outside of NC. Oh well! Karma is a bitch.
Now that you are up to date, me and a couple of buddies went scouring Craigslist yesterday. Contacted MANY people. All who either sold their car, asking more then listing, or just flakey.
Gave up around 7 or so and me and the girl went to dinner with Julian and his wife.
Come home, did one last search in Norfolk, VA and found the gem below. Was asking $2300, told him I would leave the house at 10pm promptly and would be there around 2am to pay cash for it. We agreed on the price of $1800.
So Julian, our friend Eddie, and I left around 10:30pm. 500 miles, 9 hrs, and many many cups of coffee later, I present to you:
Here is the wrecked sedan.
You can see where the valve cover went through the hood.
She has some flaws but regardless, a Virgin. Clean title, factory original Teal Si.
So today she got her first thorough cleaning.
Cleaned and Armoralled everything in the interior, door jambs, washed the wheel wells, and the exterior.
Fixing to tear down all the suspension on the 4dr and head to a friends house to put it all on.

As much as it pained me to do it, the other night we stripped down the Sedan of her undercarriage. Then went over to my buddies house and put it all on.
Turns out, the strut/spring combo that the guy threw in with the car was Tokico Illumina's and Skunk2 Coilover springs.
ALSO, as we started tearing out the suspension for the 4x114.3, I noticed it already had Integra Calipers. They were 17CL14VN, thats always a bonus. Turns out somebody upgraded brakes along the lines?
Anyways, we took a couple of photos of my buddies car as well.
And the pics:
Pre 4x114.3:
17CL14VN Calipers
The Sedans old strut that was pillaged for the GC Setup:
New Rear:
Unfortunately I didnt feel like undercoating it at this time like I did with the sedan. Sorry hatch.
Passenger Side Bolted.
Smoke Break.
Front done:
The Old:
And a really shitty picture of how she sits now. Forgive the lack of a tripod.

Well, as stated above, the swap was going into my hatch.
It was super smooth until the T Bracket. Stumbled on that for a solid hr. Then ran into problems when I swapped Crank Pulleys. It had a Unorthodox Single Pulley on it. I am keeping A/C, P/S Cruise etc etc. So I need a normal pulley.
Swapped them out but then the belt didnt fit. After many many alternator belts, a 30" was the ticket.
Aside from that, everything went wonderfully. Here are the pics.
My buddy Eddie doing work:
Here she is being set in:
Finished Gas Station Pic(s).
Only thing left to do is attach P/S Brackets, Swap the Pulley to a V Belt Pulley, and add a A/C Belt.
I am looking for a GSR Airbox and a ITR Arm. I want it to look 100% stock aside from an aftermarket exhaust manifold.
Thanks for Viewing.

So here's the latest.
She got another bath today. Went to TCS in Greensboro yesterday and scooped some Goodies.
Thanks Jerry and Chris for the Lip and the Duckbill.
Duckbill was put on today to remove the "Spoon" one that came with the car. 10x better.
The lip if a Type R. Didnt have time to mess with it today.
Also, while I was at TCS, I scooped some Function7 LCA's and a Subframe brace.
Just waiting for a decent deal on ITR Sways and to put on my Type R Brakes.
Looking for an ITR Front Strut Bar as well.
Pics:
ITR Brakes freshly done. (Sorry for the blurry pic, it was super low lighting.)

Well, we got some more work done on her tonight.
My good friend Eddie and I put on the Function7 Brace and LCA's.
While we had her up in the air, we lowered the back just alittle to even her out.
(Yes, I know the tires are bald. Getting new ones this week. )

Re: Rd 2 /// '93Si Build
Well, I ended up getting my Volks back. However, I am pretty set on Gold Faced BBS RS's on a teal Hatch. I sold my last set prior to purchasing my Si so I was out of luck................ Until 2 days ago.
I decided I didnt want to run 16x7/8 Staggered as 16's on a hatch are rather large looking.
So, I found these Gem's for a stupid deal and they just so happen to be the exact same type as the ones I sold late last year.
15x6.5 +36 4x114.3
Anyways, I started cleaning up them last night and these are the results:
Here is the first one just as I received them.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8407834897/http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8407834897/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/92494578@N05/, on Flickr
http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8408931040/http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8408931040/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/92494578@N05/, on Flickr
After a Eagle 1 Mag Cleaner Scrub and Bath:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8408930740/http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8408930740/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/92494578@N05/, on Flickr

Closeup on how clean the inner barrel came out:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8407833639/http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8407833639/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/92494578@N05/, on Flickr
There is some tar build up that the Mag cleaner couldnt get, but I got something for that.
And fortunately I have a spare set of OE BBS Lips that will be replacing the messed up lips.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8407833321/http://www.flickr.com/photos/92494578@N05/8407833321/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/92494578@N05/, on Flickr
The rims came complete with all Waffles, BBS Coins, and Hex's, so I need nothing more then to shine up the lips and clean them up! Not going to be adding bigger lips as this car is a function > form focused build. Not going to be shining the lips to mirror either as I like the semi-mirror finish better and would rather not take away the nostalgic look. Faces will remain original paint for character.

Ty.
Weekend Road/Auto-X Car.
I am all about suspension and handling. So I want to know how the car handles before I throw in a built bottom end.
Ordered my Function7 Sway Bar brackets and ITR Rear Sway is coming today.
Finished installing my Apex'i N1's w/ ITR LCA's today. Not as stiff as I would like, but they came with 14k/12k H&R Springs too.
Heading out to a meet tonight so I will hopefully have new pictures, possibly with a NSX in them.
