Passwordhatch 92EgHatch build/paint thread
UPDATED......NEW PICS ON PAGE 7
I bought this car about 6 months ago and have been slowly removing and adding parts, I traded my 96 ek hatchback straight up for the 92 eg hatchback, i was mainly interested in the motor. The car has a LS/Vtec B18b1 bottom end with a GSR head, stock internally except ITR cams, JG Header, AEM cam gears and fuel rail, and 3 inch exhaust. I have plans to step the motor up alittle after the body is done with paint.
So this past weekend i decided to rip the interior out and get the painting process started, im gutting everything from the front seats back.
What she looked like before
stripped the interior and prepped the inside for paint, My fingers hated me after this
Ready for sealer,
Sealed
The color im using, its not the first time
Its from a 02-04 Jeep Wrangler, Electric Lime Green Effect
3 Coats of base
3 Coats of clear
At the end of the day
The Next morning i unmasked everything and put the remaining interior back in the car.
With the interior back in, i still have to put the pillar cover and side interior panels back in.
Updates soon

Re: (foam)
I painted the inside at a friends house in his garage, i will be jaming the car soon, i didnt do the doors yet because they were not ready, plus i have to get ride of most of the peeling and chipping topcoat it has right now, i give macco a big thumbs down on the job they did on this car, very poor prep. im using Dupont chromabase paint with nason clear, Base coat, Clear coat of course. i'm using a Sata Jet 2000 paint gun. The exterior will be painted in a booth that i have access to,
