Since there isn't much info out there on the car and its parts I usually jump at the chance to own any catalogs/brochures from the time. whether they be Mugen or parts accessory brochures from honda. Parts numbers are important and the only way to get them now is these old brochures.
anyways, I just picked up 2 of these to add to my collection, the latter will hopefully help in the little project i'm thinking about which is to recreate the mugen exhaust. more pics when i get the brochures and scan them.

Came across yet another set of fog lights on ebay the other night. figured i would pick them up for extra parts. plus it appears this one has a complete passenger side motor unit connector. this will allow me to swap motors for the auto covers from my current set to this one and hopefully allow for both fog lights to work.

picked up these brochures the other day and here are the scans in all their high res glory. ( i have even higher res if wanted :bigwink: )
Mugen Aero Spoiler catalog:
and the Prelude parts catalog:
Gonna try to use the pic of the exhaust to try and fabricate one. not gonna be easier but its a fairly easy design. since I already have the old mugen badge from my rear aero spoiler i got that covered.

Way cool. Period-correct is a fantastic plan, and I love it. Very impressed with your work so far, and you are super brave to work on such an uncommon platform. I really like that you find what you can and make what you can't. Great work. Can't wait to see how this progresses!

Managed to snag the OEM parking pole button. Full harness also included, minor differences compared to the DA harness. (can set the height of the pole opposed to only full open/closed only)
also picked up another set of auto cover fog lights. will have some pics up soon.

Bit of an update:
Decided to pick up some of that super jdm yellow headlight vinyl for an easy way to convert my clear lenses to yellow, since all ive managed to find are USDM auto cover foglights (have 3 pairs now)
the results were near perfect, so im going to go ahead and do it to my mint pair that mounted to the car already. plus the vinyl allow me to return the rare part back to oem if need be. (didnt want to use paint or anything that was non reversible)
i'm also going to see if the motor unit in passenger side light is good on this pair as my mounted pair as an issue with one of the motor units and only 1 fog light is working. hopefully it does so it'll just be a quick swap and wont require me rebuilding the entire motor unit.
I have a pile of parts waiting to go on....spring can't come fast enough

Glad to see my old car went top the right buyer! Looking good bud. I miss that car, just did not have the space for a car like that, it deserved better.

Honestly the only thing besides regular maintenance has been that axle when i first got it  Been a super reliable car and the clutch is just starting to slip so that will be getting changed in the next few weeks by a reputable shop that specializes in vintage Honda's (only place i trust to not ruin the condition of the car) but other than that it's really just been a labor of finding rare parts and accessories. also anything (literally any nut/bolt) that was taken off the car is still in my possession, just in case.
When i come down for one of the meets in the Virginia area wouldn't mind stopping and meeting up to shoot the **** and what not, assuming you wanna check out the car (some previous owners don't wanna relive it).
My only problem is every one always thinking its a 3g and if it has 4ws  grrrr

Rad car!
I had the same car in red color as my first Honda back in 1997,
loved it.
I bet you'd kill for that Mugen Suspension,
MDFC, lol

if he sourced that Mugen suspension i would say that would be the coolest thing i've seen out of all the build threads on this website. Especially given the age of the parts and the type of car.
