Default "My Great Depression" DB7 build! UPDATED *pics* 11/24/12

1994 Acura Integra rolling shell
no motor
no tranny
no slave sleeve
some chunte bucket seats (welded to frame, smh)
black carpet (some type of material used for dog houses tore up,nailed to ground)
interior bezel along with ac vents headliners pices and step pieces were painted blue and white
center console was painted blue as well
previous owner had purchased vehicle with a sonic blue paint job,and primered it black for reasons idky!
no brakes or calipers (had to purchase them upon picking up the car)
so thats a bit of the downrun toward my purchase of the car.

Purchased Late March early April or so as a complete shell with a bunch of work to be done but as i said i simply purchased to use a daily driven car. Somewhere along the way this went from a simple purchase to drive to and from work to a build im currently investing in. Here is a simple list i have yet to complete and add to as i continue the build.

Future plans for this project:

Engine plans:
ABS Delete
Chrome the blox manifold
battery relocation
spray down the engine bay (color undecided)
Looking to get a bigger better radiator (undecided)
wrap my DC headers
Engine bay tuck
Headlight harness tuck (complete)
Valve cover paint (painted frost white to match car)
color match valve cover to engine bay
Injen short ram intake (purchased)

Exterior plans:
will most likely keep the stock front end look if i cant get the veilside lip for it
Rear bumper valances
mudflaps (purchased
curb feelers
db8 window visors
ITR wing (purchased)

Suspension plans:
Function and Form type 1 suspension
Buddy club rear LCA's
Datum subframe brace

Interior plans:
Airbag delete
Detachable steering wheel (still undecisive on brand)
Buddy club front seats

all these ideas are set simply need to aquire the money to begin purchasing.

Thanks for looking and enjoy my build.
Im currently waiting on some more pictures of the entire build process of parts that i installed or simply prepped for meets.

Wow @ 1st it really needed much work/tlc. I totally like where this is headed tho. Hopefully u have the patience to "build it once, build it right". Gl on the build man.

BTW, wat kind of LCA's are those? Quality doesn't look too great.

yea man at first i just wanted a ride to throw my b20 in and just get around for school and work...after idk i just wanted to clean it up and well go from there..got a great deal of patience and looking forward to this build its officially on here so i aint going to sell or nothing just build..

and the LCAs are GodSpeed..yea i had a chance to pick up some F&F but i wanted purple LCAs..and they gave me GodSpeed..its all good though later on ill go about and change them unless someone comes around and wants to swap lol..got some future plans for this so hopefully this all goes well and i can get my ride lookin good enough to get in the DBsquad.

previous owner decided or idk what he was thinking but he welded the section where the lca connect to the suspension fork. He broke off the head of the bolt and just welded it..so now i need to replace the rear suspension to install the lcas. Bummer!!

Heres some recent pics of my ride as well as some new goodies recently added to the car may not be awesome parts but its looking far much better than its old state.

Thanks for looking.

The build continues.

Was rocking the ride with no panels for a bit and no carpet.

Picked up this carpet time to paint.

Picked up some Gsr Leather seats not in the best condition but theyll do for now.

gutted the ride to install the carpet. Pics will updated again soon.

As it sits now.

This build is awesome. I love cars that have been raped and then fall in to the hands of someone who really takes care of it, cant wait to see it done! great job sanding to the blue as well! My project did not come out nearly as clean after hours of wet sanding through massive layers of flat black lol

Thank you! Im looking forward to this build myself each and every step/part of the way. The sanding i used like an 800 grit to kill the layers of flat black it had on it. Overall the blue came out good just need a nice wax,new clear coat and a good buff. I went the other route got the doors and all that as seen above. Thanks again for looking.

a verrrryyyyyy long way. thank you for looking and most deffinitely i will keep this as current and up to date as best as i can.

color im thinking of going a basic frost white. i mean i painted the mirrors with color places frost white. did the basic sand then primer then another wet sand and primer again then i sprayed the white on did a wet sand to that then another layer of white then added the clear coat and done. Mirrors came out looking very fresh and they still look good.

**apologies the pic that says as it sits right now is wrong. ill fix that soon as i get a pic of its real current state.**

Thank you all for looking.
