Default James 95 real RHD jdm 4dr eg civic project

Hi i just bought a 1995 real rhd jdm eg civic tonight off my friend for $300 New zealand so thats $253USD, hes had it in his garage since mid 2012 and was supposed to use it as a project but lost interest. He bought it as it had a snapped timing belt.

This is my 1st project car ive owned so its gonna be a slow build as i work 55+ hours a week and really only get a few hours a night free time and most of saturday and all sunday, im a noob when it comes to engine swaps etc so go easy on me lol.

My plans for the car as of now is:

-Buy an engine hoist so i can take the d15b out
-Clean the car cause its pretty dirty
-Once engine is out, start on cleaning the bay up and get it freshly painted
-I might either plasti dip or vinyl wrap the car, havn't made a decision yet
-Take the front and rear seats out, im gonna buy some ek9 CTR red recaro's and rails off my friend, he's had them in storage for 7years and there mint.
-Buy a DB8-R rear seat
-I defintly want a EM1 Si cluster so will be on the hunt for 1 of them, of course i'll have to get one from the states as we dont have any ek coupes over here in new zealand
-Finish buying the rest of my turbo parts, so far i have

-FMIC
-I/C Piping
-38mm wastegate
-BOV
-Oil catch can

Thats pretty much it for now, i dont have an exact timeframe on all of this but i will try and update this thread as much as i can, any input would be awesome to

Here's some pics but there not the greatest as it was dark when i took them, ill take some pics tomorrow when its day light, but im pretty happy with the car for $300.

Ok so the civic is still at my friends house, been to busy to sort a trailer out to bring it to my house, ill sort that out this weekend on my day off work.

Look what i just bought, won the auction for it on 1 of the websites here in new zealand, $500 for h22a engine, 5speed gearbox, hubs, suspension, driveshafts, subframe, only done 134,000km. Going to pick it up saturday afternoon after work, its 2-3hours drive away

Based on that seat fabric, 230km/h speedo, trunk spoiler, dimmer switch, and a couple of other things, I would guess that's an original NZDM, not a JDM import.

Nice find on the motor!
