so here is a little timeline of my turbo ek coupe...

bought the car for 5k, had 118xxx miles



then i moved to california, dropped the car, and bought some tsw wheels



well turns out i dropped it so low that i busted the oil pan on a road reflector



couple weeks/months later i melted a valve on nitrous



so then we threw together a little bastard d15b so i could drive the car



then when i got back from iraq the cam locked up and i bent a bunch of valves



so i decided to build a motor for boost



i threw in some eagle h beams and vitara pistons



had the crank polished, and cylinders honed/decked



drove it around for a while on 8psi



got rear ended at a traffic light, and ended up doing a 99-00 conversion



got tired of low boost and decided to turn it up and start running it at the track



got tired of the black front end, and went back to a 96-98



and thats kinda how it sits now...makes great power, fun to drive....

you need to port that oil pump. thats a ticking time bomb on a y8. dont wanna see your motor f*cked up at 8k rpms

got rear ended and pushed into car infront of me

i've had zero issues, motor has seen 9k hundreds of times, has 6k miles on it and has made lots of passes down the 1320. i have great oil pressure
