New personal best with a passenger - 7.6 @ 92mph with a 1.7 60ft. Spinning out of the hole. The race is next weekend against the Chevy boys. My mustang friends learned to respect the honda. Lol. #areyoufasterthanahonda

Very nice! What power lever were you at on that run? I just ran an 11.66@118 with a 7.5@95 in the 1/8 with a 1.7 60ft. Your car probably has low 11s if not a high 10 in the 1/4.

That was on c16 410whp @15psi creeping to 20 psi. I'm figuring it is a low 11 second car. Hope to swap final drives in my 4.7fd itr to a 4.4 and hopefully I won't be shifting to 4th in the 8th. Shooting for a 7.0 or 7.1.
I plan on pushing the stock gsr longblock as far as she will go before a built block goes in.

I thought you were making 410whp on a lot less boost then that. Do you know how much your car weights? Maybe my car is making more power then I thought then lol.
I would love to see you run your car in the 1/4!

With boost creeping to 20 lbs it's somewhere around 460-480. 370@10psi on 93. It weights 2450 with full interior, me, and full tank of gas.

That's a **** load of power on the stock block. At least it's race gas so it's safer then doing that kind of power on pump. What are your plans when your stock block finally gives up?
My car weighs about 2300 with me and a full tank of gas and a bag full of random tools under the seat lol. So maybe I am making more then 300whp then.

Panhandle Racing Shootout at Atmore Dragway, AL 1/8 mile. A really nice track. Environment is on the ruff side. Gun shots fired over bets the past two weeks.

I run M&H 23/8.5-15s when I go to the strip on tire rack wheel 15x8 +20
The Mach 1 was the run I made a 7.33 pass. As soon as I came off the line, I knew it was a new P.B. and that was with shifting into 4th. I pulled about a bus, bus and half on the Mach 1. Second run was the gto. He installed the 100 shot a week prior to the event after he found out I up'd the boost a little bit. This was another run that you knew coming out of the hole would have been another 7.3 or better but I let out the last 60 ft and coasted in with a 7.8. My buddy in the gto was all excited talking about a close run because he was only a car and half behind. The smile on his face quickly became a look of dissappointment when I told him I let out to try and stay in my index. My third run was against a awd trailblazer ss on spray. My slowest times were close to his best so I should have got him but with the sun going down and track prep going to ****, i lit up the tires out of the hole and didn't have enough track to run him back down. It funny because when the domestic guys started to learn I was competition, i would mess with them and ask if they were faster than a honda and most of the time they would start to say yes as if it was even a question and then question which honda. That got me started with the hash tag **** #RUfasterthanahonda, kind of a take off of the show R U faster than a redneck. Anyways after the event, I got several of the domestics to admit that they are not faster than a honda. Good times!! Been DD'ING the honda every day since the event... got to love it!!

I keep breaking bolts on my manifold for some reason so I picked up some arp studs. I shouldn't be having that problem anymore.

Well the time has come for a major overhaul. The head gasket finally gave up so motor is getting pulled and built. Ran across a deal on some ctr cams and picked up some supertech valve springs. More to come soon!!!

So it's been awhile. Getting close to being back on the road soon. I had planned building my gsr block with the CSS sleeve support but came across a Darton sleeve ls block with crower rods and arias outlaw pistons for a good price. Sticking with the 5457 for a bit until I get the fuel and ignition systems upgraded and then I'm thinking going to a 62mm. I'll be pushing it to make ifo end of October.
