Just went through your post again, it had been a year or two lol. I was asking you questions about the rear and front disc swap and I have that done but still get crazy bump steer. I noticed you changed the rack and pinion which seemed to help the most but my problem may be the 550r/500f spring rates lol.

I doubt it. I am 350/450 and about to up the front to 450 as well. I am planning on taking a degree of chamber out of all 4 in hopes of loosing some of the bump steer I have. Steering rack def help the most so far!

I don't have a camber kit yet but I may need to raise the car up some and change some things around. This build was really great to read through. Give me lots of ideas lol.

I am about to swap my gauges around in a few. One thing I noticed that I don't like is that the pod angles the gauges up so I can see having issues under certain conditions reading them. I will take pics tonight when I finish. Trying to get everything wrapped up to make ifo this weekend. Looking to get in the 11's.

Finally got the gauges switched around... there are some improvements to be made to this setup. I don't like how they are angled up. It makes them difficult to see when the sun is shining and the reflection of the gauges at night due to the angle. I will make my own when I get some time so that the gauges are vertical with a hood to help block any reflections.

Ortiz pods. I'm going to figure out some kind of visor to help with the glare.

Very nice build man! Way to stick with it year after year. I didn't read every page but do you have and 1/4 mile times?

Thank you. It has been an experience building this car and I will continue improving it as years go on. This is a car that will never get sold. 1/4 mile times on boost yet. Only 8th. Old turbo did 7.8@91MPH. New turbo should get me under 7.5. We are having a big event for the locals on my area May 3 so I hope to make my goal and then some.

It is still a stock motor I give hell everytime I drive it. It has had so many things happen like hydrolock, that when we took it in to adjust the tune after my 3 bar went out and we put a 4 bar in, figured what the hell. We had a pale of c16 laying around and c85 drum wasn't ordered in time for the retune. We weren't expecting 2 psi increase of boost to net us 70hp and we originally wanted close to 400whp for a local event my buddies organized to woop up on some chevy boyz.
