Decided to test fit the Mishimoto fan/shroud to the Koyo radiator. Glad I did. Not sure if I got one out of a bad batch, but their tab mounting holes were off...just a little.

Not sure if its a camp1320, Highend or some other. I picked it up for $100 with the car so I cant argue with that

Exhaust is a kteller kit with vibrant resonator and oval muffler, 2.5". It was mated to a long tube header so it should bolt right up on that end. It is coupe length and I can see were the extra piece was welded on the b pipe where it mates to the muffler. Should be easy as putting it on, measuring, removing and getting an exhaust shop to cut it. Picked this up from a friend for $200 so another steal for sure

I had a chance to work on the car for a few hours on Friday. Of course it was 88* and humidity was through the roof. I only grabbed one pic. I am tearing the bay down to be painted. Got just about everything done. I need to push the chassis harness back through the firewall and take the cowl off to move the wiper motor wiring.

Found my master cylinder is leaking when I removed it. You can see where the fluid ate through the finish on the booster in a previous pic. Im going to refinish the booster and run a 91 Ex four door master cylinder which will upgrade from 13/16 to 15/16. I will upgrade the calipers and rotors when the time comes, but for now Im not buying anything unnecessary to getting the car running.

I am hoping to have the bay painted next weekend if I can get it moved to the paint shop, so we will see

Sorry for the **** pic from my phone, humidity and lighting didnt help

no updates on the car itself as I did not get a chance to work on it or get it to paint.

I picked up a few more pieces for the bay to get it fresh. I purchased a Nissin 15/16" master cylinder so I could re use the oem booster. The original si booster was 13/16" and was leaking. Honda has discontinued their 15/16" and Nissin is oem quality at nearly half the price so I was ok with it.

I picked up an exedy clutch master and slave cylinder for a steal as well. Will have piece of mind knowing all this stuff is brand new, in addition to looking nice.

a few pieces Ive been collecting along the way to give it a little character. Keeping it simple, clean, OEM and some mugen parts. Cant really go wrong. The wheels were refinished by Exotics Powdercoating and Paint in Kernersville, NC. Excellent job for sure

I need my Mugen RNR's refinished as well. Would you mind telling me what that ran you? Mine are three different colors right now and would like to have them done in black with the red lip.

Had a couple hours to clean up the interior of the car. Since its sat for about 5 years it has that Honda musky smell and needed a clean up.

I broke out my Rug Doctor spot carpet cleaner machine and went over the whole carpet, mats and also the fabric on the door panels. I may end up removing the carpet for a deeper cleaning but it came out great.

driver side door panel cleaned, passenger side uncleaned

This looks really really good, straight body, paint looks in great shape, and now with the new engine and goodies it well settle perfect.
