People who helped and hooked me up along the way
My brother Chino - Hes helped me all the way. He works on the car when I'm at work. And teaches me so many things.
Cesar Acosta - he hooked me up with the paintjob and fixed most of the damage. For the price I paid, I can't complain.
Paul - you gave me a good price on the car. We still need to sign the pink slip haha.
Psycho you let me use your AAA lol.
Apathy for hooking it up with the radiator and strut bar. As well as working on my car, getting into places we big guys can't get to.
Nastie Garage (Nate) - For hooking it up with the engine wire/brake line/headlight wire/TUCK. For the price I paid, I think its an awesome job. Also for hooking it up with the F2 coilovers, o2 sensor & bung, godspeed slim fans, and crank pulley.
NiteGrind Transmissions (Joel) - For hooking it up with the transmission work. Your definitely someone I trust to go back to. Now hook me up with a b16 tranny!
I bought this DB8 from a friend in February of 2009. I picked it up for a good price. 87k actual miles. Always wanted a 4 door integra. Didn't think I would go as far as I did with it.
This is how the car looked before.
It was finally time to go home
I'll skip along to the part where we started on the body work. My brother lining up the parts since I don't have any pictures of from the time I took it home and these.
Everything lined up. My car drinks 211
My brother and his JDM mustach
Finally painted! Painted the car Pyrite Mica
A week later. Wet sanding, etc.
Yes, I have dc sidemarkers on my Yukon
The DB8 is on bags
Car is buffed and lowered.
Thats it so far. I should have the car out within a week and the mods continue from there.
And this is the reason why I'm fixing up the DB8. So I can continue to modify my 1999 GMC Yukon. I can't drive this car as a DD. So once the DB8 comes out, I'm able to put this car away and tear it down.

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
Lets start at the suspension
Function & Form type II coilovers
Function 7 LCA
ASR Subframe brace with 24mm sway bar
Benen tie bar
Maybe skunk2 or blox camber kits if needed
Carbing/benen/ or password jdm front strut bar
Interior
Mirror, itr boot, oem floor mats, skunk2 shift ****, b&m short shifter
Momo/personal/nrg steering wheel with hub/release and lock
Audio
Kenwood ddx714 indash tv
Audiopulse Axis 15" (have it)
Some 2500rms amp possibly orion not sure as of yet
Memphis 15msync6 components up front (have it)
DLS 6x9's in the rear (have it)
Matching high amp
Performance
Password jdm or aem intake
DC headers
Greddy sp1 catback exhaust (already have it)
Wheels
J line 6sl2/ 10sl2 one of these if not Rota c8's
The main thing I would like to do is to pull the motor out and paint the engine bay and do a minor wire tuck. Tuck the engine harness and headlight harness. Keeping abs and ac. Getting rid of power steering.

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
I went to the autobody shop and cleaned up the car a little bit. We installed the weatherstripping and other moldings on. Heres some cleaner pictures to make you go wows.
The chrome housing doesn't look to bad. I think I'm going to keep it that way. I should have the itr lip on soon.
Interior is pretty clean although we have stuff all over the place. black/grey interior. I plan on red recaros and itr rears sometime in the future.

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
I plan on bringing the car home this week. One of the first things I want to do that doesn't require much money is relocate the battery to the back. Install my new DLS 6x9s, wire up my memphis components and just have everything ready to install. Amps and subs will go in last.
This is the subwoofer that I'll be using

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
I finally took the car home today. The itr front lip got painted and I put on the mud guards. Painted them flat black to bring out that new look.

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
Thanks.
I do plan on lowering it some more after I get some coilovers. If the tires on the wheels wern't so thick I'm sure the car would of dropped another 1/2 to 1" or so. I put on the itr front lip and side markers. So I'll post up some pictures tomorrow. I also got my radiator and fans today.

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
Thanks guys.
I know, where you been. We need to get all the dc's and db's together for a photoshoot. If you find another good deal for some db visors hit me up.
Yessir. Do you want me to drive to your house or do you want to come down here? I got cold coronas at my house

Re: BernyMacs DB8 Build
I like how stable the car feels with the p/s off. But its been awhile since I drove a car like that. So I'll drive with it on and then off and I'll make up my mind. I haven't seen any other db's painted this color besides dkyamada. I didn't even know the color was the same until after my car was painted. I not even sure if it is the same. Only if we put our cars side by side will we know if the paint color is the same. If I knew another db was already painted this color, I would of chose something else.
