Props:
JAE86 - For hooking up the MAF.
My Roommate - For his Superior Tint and Vinyl skills.
DEC 26
24 Hours After this Picture was taken, I drove 1100 Miles back to N.C
DEC 28
And the end product of the trip...
After awake for 25 hour (Thanks I-64), the first thing I did was wash her. Then it was off to the shop for some mods.
First thing I did was get rid of the stock intake. I also deleted the vacume hose to the valves and the air assist bypass valve.
I replaced the hoses with breather filters.
JAE86 cut the maf housing for me...
and I modified the vanes.
A simple 3 inch elbow we had laying around the shop is what I worked with.
A matching steel mesh filter is what I added. I'm a lil OCD when it comes to like products.
While I was in there, I decided to add the TBS to the mix.
Don't judge me. I had to leave on of the gaskets on the old car to keep it running.
Why the hell not. A coolant by pass seemed pretty good. All I did was use a piece of vacume hose and connected it from the coolant sending, to the return. Simple enough.
And the block off of the throttle body nipples.
So after everything was installed...
I decided to make the most important mod. The "While the ECU resets Cheeseburger Mod" Gauranteed Horse Power across the RPM Range.
After rolling for about a day with people wrreckless eyeballing me, I talked my Roommate into tinting my windows. Laser cut precision tint FTW.
He also talked Zak into helping him (We all work together so it's cool)
Notice how the bay light reflects of the passenger window. 35% Infinity Reflective Tint. Afterthe curing process, the tint becomes like reflective smoke. Since it's cold, it's gonna take a while to cure. But it's worth the wait.
Here's a shot from outside. I don't know if you can see it, but the curing process has left a bunch of tint solution residue.
All that will go away as the tint dries. It just a long process because it gets so cold t my house that the residue freezes over night. It's going to take a while before it's safe for me to roll my windows down.
Not bad for a days work, and two days of owning the car. Stay tuned for updates as they come.
And Here's a Street Mod Performance Motorsports teaser for ya. Two Limited Edtions from across the pond.
And I just talked my roommate into overlaying my head lights with mercadees sky blue. Coupled with some Hyper White 9006s, I think that should look good.
DEC 29
After we closed my Roommate decided to do my headlight overlays.
Mercadees Sky Blue is the color of choice. This is the same blue that comes factory on the windows.
The passenger side.

and DONE! Who's the MAN!!
I was a lil uneasy about how they looked. but I like them.
A fine officer of the law pulled me today. He told me if I had a Bimmer or an e-class he would have let me slide. But he knew civics don't come with blue lights. 3 days to fix it or pay.

!!!! I apologize. I lost most of the picks from the install. I'll try to explain in words. I ordered th High Flow Cat the night of DEC 30. It came in Jan 8th. The night of the night, I decided to install. The stock cat was removed and put to scale for ***** and giggles. The Stock Cat tipped at 15.4 LBS. The HFC tipped at 6.2 LBS. That's what I call wieght reduction. Well, during the install, we noticed on of the spring bolts was bent. While putting it back , it snapped. After 4 hours of trial and error rying to take it out, it finally came out. I used a sring bolt from the axel back as a temp replacement and when I got home I put an extra spring bolt back in the axel back. But here's a shot installed.
OK!!!!!! I found a few crappy pics from my cell.
After running some math sims at home, i have come to the conclusion that the Civic Si HFC is a percentage based mod that provides increases throughout the power band. I stillhave a few more test to run before I can give a definate answer as to rather or not the percentage can be negatively over powered with an increase in more powerful mods. As of now, it's running smoothy but a little lean. That will be taken care of this spring with a tuning solution. All in all, it was a good night for a good mod.

Here's a pic of everything installed. The AAV is on the right with a breather filter on it. It is topped with a PVC hose that leads to a vacuum outlet behind the injectors.
After breaking off the AAV plastic cap, I was able to get to the valve it self and remove it. Notice the coolant in the valve port. thats what closes the valve at operating temps. I also removed the hose.
Here are the two peices that I need to complete the job. A nipple plug and a drain plug.
And the end product.
Feb 2
Ok. Quit possibly the best mod any car (if applicable). A car specific tuning solution. The Fedex man is my best friend right now. I found a kid slanging his Cobb AP for 400 bucks. I came back from my lil trip and had a lil cash so I bought it. Almost instantly, I sent it in to Hondata with 130 bucks. 5 days and 530 beans later, I have a new Flashpro. Yeah, I see the hype and it's real.
Hondata Flashpro. Now I can see what's going on in that crazy honda ECU. Oh so sweet.
Played around with a few calibrations just to get the hang of it. And finally, here are some estimated numbers. This is the e-dyno from my big homie VitViper. When I get some cash, i'll have to put in by the hour. But i'm happy for now.
RED: Stock Calibration as if the engine had never been flashed.
192 HP, 148 TQ
Blue: Basic Hondata Reflash (Sold before flashpro came out).
192 HP, 148 TQ
Green: Due to my unique set up, there is no pre loaded calibration for my mods. I had to go with
one that resembled my set up the closest.
194 HP, 147 TQ
My dumb *** fault for not getting a baseline dyno. Here are two sheets I found that are of Stock 8th Gens. I know each car is different, but this is all I have to gauge off of right now.
I was a little choppy at low RPM wide open throttle. I registered a few knocks and between 17 and 24% retard. Just a minor fix now with the flashpro. There was a bunch of other stuff going down, but it's too much to explain. Stay Tuned.
Feb 8
In prep for boost, I picked up a set of 525cc Injectors.
The install was customary (super long) We went through two sodering pins. But in the end the job was done. Once installed, I had to tune them in. Not taking anything away from the company, but the numbers they gave weren't working. I was getting bouncy idel and the car would shut off while coasting to a stop. So, I took a weekend and figured out the numbers one at a time. It paid off, the car no longer has the jumpy Idle and it no longer cuts off. And I feel a bit more power after the crossover.
Mar 20
The stock header wasn't doing it. But I still want to be on the right side of the law, so I didn't go with a race header. So I picked up a Megan shroty and coupled it with the HFC I already have installed. If you've ever taken a header of an 8th gen, you already know.
Decided to heat wrap it.
The install went pretty quick. It was a lot faster than I remember. After the burn off, I took it for a spin. I don't know if it's me, but the intake is pretty loud now. Don't ask, I'll just let it roll.
Stay Tuned
May 4th
I decided to use the Passwoed JDM Battery Relocation. It freed up the space behind the head light and gives me options for routing the intake. This is not recommended for Turbo setups because the piping runs right where the battery is relocated to.
While I was in there, I decided to go ahead and use the Napa Radiator Hose. The stock one rubs right up next to the intake piping and throttle body. Heat transfer FTL.
And here's what I ended up with.
At idel, my IATs are about 15 above the outside temps. At WOT they drop to about 77-85 on a 90 degree day. I still have some other planes for the induction, but I just have to finish building it first.
May 5th
Not really needed, but I wanted it. Keeps my laptop from sliding around while I'm datalogging. I just have to watch out for some danger to my manifold while i'm driving. And if I roll with a certain young lady, then the mount folds down to the floor with no seat clearance issues.
May 8th
With the bigger injectors, I decided to match it with a fuel pump that would do the job. So I copped a Walbro 255 I haven't dialed it in yet, but That's what Sundays are for. So I'll be on that for the day.
Some pretty good mods. Not to expesive and they will come in handy in the long run. Catch yall lata,
Stay Tuned.
NOV 15th
WARNING!!!!!
Do not get into an epic battle with someone who loosens lug nuts.
DEC 13
Once again, the intake has changed. I decided to keep the stock box with a gutted air filter (to seal the edges)
I routed some piping to the resonator location and used an AEM filter on it. So it's like a cold air mini power chamber of sorts. It's loud when you get on it, and quiet during normal driving.
I also decided to add Supa Ninja's Catch Can to the mix. While I'm still NA, I did catch some pretty good oil. It's non stick and works wonders when you need to fry chicken.
And what's a ride without an H.I.D install. One of my boys in the Euro Division hooked me up with this BMW kit. It's only a 6K but I guess 6K in Bimmer talk is pretty bright.
And I know, I'm missing an Emblem. Yeah, some a$$ munch stole it at the body shop. Now's a good time for a custom JDM set. We'll see.
Stay Tuned.

Re: This Autobot is ready to roll (Mugen SI Build)
Thanks for the props yall. I had to pu t the tuning on hold for a three day rain storm. It's sunny now, but I don't know how long it's gonna last.
Hama- Hellz yeah I mis In-n-Out. The next best thing out here is jack in the crack (2 hours away). But I can't move back. I have gotten a taste of really low emission laws and it taste really good. But it's still an option. My girl wants to move out there, so if she gets me a supercharger, then yeah, I'll follow her.

Re: This Autobot is ready to roll (Mugen SI Build)
Looks good man, haven't really seen another build on a Mugen Si.
On another note my hand-cut and shaved tint patterns>plotter cut patterns haha.
