2000 Civic:"D"-aily and Turbo
Welp....i been missing driving a Honda for yearssss...i tried too get a lil project while back, but got overwhelmed and it was too far gone for me too wanna put anymore money in it.
So after a few mths looking for something swapped already to start with, i came up with nothing...nothing fit my criteria of what i wanted my car too be in the end...or too much work needed
Which brings us here.....i found a prettyyyyy clean STOCK 2000 Civic EX:
Thats the night i bought it....few dings, nicks...nothing major at all.
Interior is stupidddd clean....it doesnt even look like anyone has ever sat in the back

This is exactly the car for me....its what i been looking for for a longggg time....stock and clean, so i can just add to it and NOT fix many things.
Im unsure of the direction this will go, its probably gonna be total different than most others.
Im keeping allll amenities that came with it....fulllll interior, A/C, PS, and cruise.
Im still debating on what swap to do....Bseries is soo much more budget friendly...but that Kswap DOE

every time i see your post op, i think of mc phat.

Yeh....i seen some and im like yuck immediately but these...idk...may stay may not
Yeh, i might buy some other stock ones and get those smoked a lil...these fit pretty good though.....i may leave em not sure just yet
Bought a lip from a local guy for $25....just test fitting it here
It fit pretty good...ima get it painted and than might install....need some 3m adhesive tape....it looks like it only gives u 4 screws.... 2 for each side
I really want a full SI lip kit...front n rear painted and call it a day

Re: 2000 EJ8.....STOCKER to .........
I also remembered a longggg time ago about someone posting a HOW-TO on getting your bumper to fender gap a lot tighter, well i did it too
This is what i started with:
And after a lil massaging and some bolts n washers instead of the factory crap:
The other side was messed up but i didnt get any before pics:
Still need a lil adjusting but its a lot better than stock...my other side is actually missing the loop on the bumper it broke off so this was the only way to fix it for now.
Some packages came in to today....post them up later....yummy stuff

Re: 2000 EJ8.....STOCKER to .........
Had a super hard rain this morning....and i opened door to go somewhere and by my tweeter pillar it was wet...and could see where it dripped down a bit onto the speaker grill
Kinda annoyed me....only thing i could think i did was install a antenna block off plate and had too push the antenna down and it mighta rubbed the drain tube in moof roof...IDK...doesnt seem like that
But i checked my mirror on drivers side and the bolts were hand tight....so im thinking it was that...i snugged em up and it tightened that rubber on it so prolly was that
