Assuming you are getting a fresh hone and resurface, everything sounds good. But what tuning setup are you going to use? I.E. Hondata, AEM EMS, etc. And what intake manifold/throttle body? Any port/polish? Have you considered upgrading your ignition too?

Overall, it seems like you got your hands on a pretty secure platform as far as the engine assembly goes. What kind of vehicle is this motor going into?

Hmm prob hondata.. As far as intake manni possibly the performer x? And I have a skunk 70 mm tb but need to go smaller I recently switched from a full turbo motor 500hp build to a little na setup and this will be in a ef... With all suspension traction bar etc... No port n polish either I know it recommended but idk. Also I realized I have Buddyclub stage 4's not 3

everything sounds good... I would go with BC Spec IV though or a pro 1...

and no on the performer x... a skunk2 will outperform it in a 2.0l motor

I ran the same setup as what you're described (except stock rods w/arps). I used BCIV's, hytech rep header, 68mm tb, 440's, blox IM, hondata s300, 3" v.stack, and made 215 whp.

I think your goal is feasible.

I have seen couple of dyno graphs of B20 similar to this with BC3+ coming in at 215WHP. I have B18C1 with BC3+ and my best is 193WHP.
Based on these observations I would say that 210-220 WHP with this type of setup is possible.
For DD reliability BC3+ is hard to beat for balance of everything.

If reliability is not the primary driver but power is, BC 4 or pro2s (and a few other) will be a better choice and probably put you slightly over your goal without much hassle where BC3+ will be pushed to get there and might come in at few WHP less.

Buddy club 4s need more compression than 11.5 to make 220whp, but it can be done. Also, keep your TB, it works fine with NA cars as long as the air intake is also 3"

everything is fine but get the head ported and polished and for TB 70mm is great or if u can go 74mm more air the more fuel the more power you can make.skunk2 intake will be the best for you.i would use pro 2 cams from skunk2.

I'm a Ported ITR & SKunk2 IM guy, but the Performer X does well also.
Between Skunk2/Performer X IMHO you're kinda splitting hairs. For 220whp, either one will work.

The thing to remember too, is what Throttle Body you plan to use. I myself am switching from a Ported ITR throttlebody to a Skunk2 Alpha 70mm on my wife's Toda Civic.

Do a little more reading on header testing. The Bisi header may not be the right one for your application

I also double checked on the pistons and there rated at 11:7 or 12:0 depending on which head I use and I'm running a b16 head wich I beleive has 0.10 milled from it and an oem golden eagle head gasket now that I think hopefully I'll be ok with p to v clearance

Your compression, overall combination of parts should render you 220 whp. I wouldn't run the bisimoto v2 header replica on that setup though, are you looking to keep a/c? I see your worried on P2V clearance, claying the motor would give you piece of mind. Can't really skimp on these frank builds when it comes to wanting a reliable, healthy motor...
