Man..y'all make this unnecessarily complicated.

Get a good traditional GM 3bar MAP sensor with pigtail. Mount it to the wall, recalibrate sensor in management.. Go on with life..

So what if it's not mounted to the throttle body like OEM.. that one from eBay looks like *** anyway.. C'mon.. It's eBay.. You're going to spend $5 to ship it back to get the rest of your refund..live with it already. At least you may get a refund...

And when converting to bar, the true nature is one bar has to be counted for atmosphere..

I already was running a firewall mounted GM 2.5 bar. To continue using it, I would need an adapter plate.

Going to new TB and to OEM map sensor threw my tune off, I don't know how else to say it. I did change the scaler, I'm not THAT dumb, thanks. Took 30mins of street tuning, all is well.

Dropped overall multiplier from 22 to 10, added some 500-1000mbar fuel, removed some fuel from 0-5psi.

I have an Omni Power 4 bar coming. No sweat buddy. However, reaffirms why I never buy ebay parts. You get what you pay for...I'm an idiot for trying it, yes.

Naw, I'm good on wasting more money. Spent 5 minutes shooting vid and posting on phone.

I'm not broke, no need to stress an OEM sensor, just wanna drive my car while Chi has good weather, money well spent once the Omni shows up!

However, 3 bar Omni could have made more sense with higher resolution than 4 bar. I will critique that...

Using OEM didn't imply any lack of funding on your part, nor your intelligence level...it ess to suggest implied reliability of a component. (The 2.5BAR scale throws off most honda systems anyway, because it does not read the voltage correctly)..That's why I specifically stated GM 3 BAR, and nothing else. The omni power BS is just as finicky, honestly, but, we have to let life teach, sometimes.

I'm glad you found your solution to your situation..you just took a few extra steps to achieve it..

Got a 70mm BDL throttle body on a B18 ITR intake manifold ported to match. Sometimes on WOT, you let off the throttle and when you hit it again, it sticks before it opens. Adjusted the idle before so the throttle didnt close 100% (throttle plate was gouging into the actual casting in the bore). This is a semi common occurance, my 2 cents for BDL.

Surprised no one has mentioned Professional Products, I have been using their throttle bodies for years and they are literally OEM quality and NEVER had any issues. Good pricing to boot.

All from Nickel's. Used them 10 years ago, but no fine idle screw
