Default Starting/idling issues on 96 civic

So. I recently replaced my alternator. Then everything started to go downhill. I replaced my alternator because the battery light came on, all my electronics went haywire, then my car died. After I replaced the alternator my car started fine and ran fine, but the next day when I went to start it, it wouldn't start. The battery drains while the car is off, so I unplug the battery every time I stop now. But when I hook a multimeter up to the battery it says it's only draining 10mA when off. Now, my car also has an idle issue, and the battery light still comes on when my car is having problems idling, even before it goes to low RPMs, and sometimes idles so low it dies, but not always, and it seems to just happen randomly. I had Oreilly's do the handheld test and they said my battery and alternator seem to be fine, so I don't know what to do at this point. I'd really like to be able to stop my car without unhooking my battery. Please give me some options of things to check.

Did you unplug any grounds??

make sure all your grounds are plug.. and do you have a painted bay? sometimes when theres paint on the bay the ground cables dose not get enough ground for the car to get chagre or just turn on..

No, my bay isn't painted and I didn't unplug any grounds. The last guy that worked on my car actually added grounds...could that have something to do with it? But, they were there long before I had this problem.
