specs on A6+Z6 all motor ?
so a D16A6 block and D16Z6 head with a D16Y8 3 layer metal head gasket would make the specs ??
piston to deck ??

Also 93 octane ??
should i advance or retard my timing etc.

http://www.zealautowerks.com/dseries.html is your friend. P2D is .02 in the hole, CR is roughly 10:1. You dont need premium to run that combo stock but if your getting a tune you need premium. Was the head milled or block decked at all? Set your timing at 16* Base timing and leave it unless your tuner feels you need to change it

yes stock timing belt should be fine. Id take probably .010 total in the milling section seing as id sat mayb .005 were taken from each surface.

yeah im using z6 timing belt it went on GREAT< but my distributor degress u think should be stock ? or advance a tiny bit ?

how muhc if any u think porting and polishing the head/intake mani+throttel body helped ? its ported a LOT and miror polish ! exhaust/intake ported+ littel bit in the chamber ?

not much if its done wrong. Unless your opening the plenum of the IM your not going to gain any power. You'll probably loose from port matching. As for the head i hope your intake isn't mirror finished. If the ports were just hogged out that head is trash

to be honest it was dremeled and used this brush thing to get all the gunk out and dirt and crap, and the lightly ported, and no mirror finigs on head when it was re surfaced.

something like this was used,
i was only going to clean the exhaust ports and intake of the black kunk, and clean it up u know , head was on a 200k car never taken off ,anywase.
so the intake portes were about 3/4 of an inch in ported meaning were if u look insede th eport u can c the valve well i only went littel in, and same oin exhaust, no nor polish finigs but it was smoothend up a littel bit but still has the rough tiny hole feeling.
if i wont gain anything thats fine but did i damage it or no ?

No way to tell if it was done incrrectly by what you say. The only real way to know is if you have flowbench results for that head that was ported vs a stock head.
