Default Searching for Primary Lope Specs on B engines

I searched this site but all I can find is Vtec lope sizes.

I am trying to figure out if all Vtec B engines have the same primary lopes or if some of them are bigger than others.

I am looking for a good daily driver cam and I'm also wondering why my GSR engine can kick on a 4400 while the rest seem to need more RPM.

According to the specs I've found on the Vtec lopes the GSR lopes are bigger than the B16 yet the B16 needs more revs to get into Vtec. The Vtec lopes on the GSR are smaller than the Type R cams but the Type R needs more revs to get into Vtec. That suggests to me that either the GSR primary lopes are bigger (or closer to the same size as Vtec lopes) and that is why it doesn't need to rev as high.

Are there any sites that list the primary lope sizes for the B cams?

B16 and ITR both benefit from a lowered VTEC activation point, they don't need to be set that high. I got very good results on my ITR with VTEC @ 4500. But then you don't get the VTEC kick that all the ricers love, just a smooth transition.

Good to know. I like coming on Vtec at 4400, that way when I shift I'm still in Vtec and not waiting for it. I have some '01 ITR cams, and I didn't want to mess up a good thing. My 4400rpm Vtec doesn't hit either, just changes the tone of the engine. It is working though because when Vtec isn't on over 4400 it just doesn't pull.
