problems after installing skunk2 im and tb.
My car wont start unless I give it gas and hold the pedal until it warms up after I installed a skunk 2 pro series manifold and skunk 2 pro throttle body. I bought a new blox tps sensor and calibrated to the stock position. any ideas on what could be the problem? rpm's aren't a issue after it warms.

I calibrated to the ohms my stock tps was. i dont get any cel on either. It runs perfectly fine when i warm the car up. Could it be a defective tps?

What are the colors of the wires running from the plug you have connected to IACV?
Do you have the coolant lines connected to the IACV?
Which skunk2 manifold, what size throttle body?

The wires are red and yellow. They have a plug going to the manifold as well. I have the gsr pro series manifold and the 70 mm pro series throttle body

I have the same issue when i changed my pro series to a ultra manifold sometime later it starting doing that. I believe its the ECT sending unit sensor under the dist next to the ECT sensor.

This, I have a friend using the blox tps and he only had it for less than 2 months and it became garbage. I gave him a used oem one and problem solve.

Skunk2 pro throttle bodies eliminate the Fast Idle Thermo Valve (FIT valve). This is done to keep the throttle body cooler when the engine is hot.
The FIT valve was there to add air to help the car start when it was cold. Without it, you have to do exactly as you describe and keep the throttle open to let the engine build a little temperature before it will hold its own idle.
This actually sounds pretty typical of how they act after installation and without tuning. Tuning will help, but not necessarily eliminate this problem.

I deleted my fitv on my stock gsr throttle body and have no issues starting my car in the morning especially today when its about 45 degrees outside.i think the car runs and idles a lot better without it.
I also have a skunk2 pro series intake manifold..
op disconnect the iac valve and start the car. what happens??

Weird thing is sometimes on a cold morning it starts fine and some days it needs the throttle open for a few secs to hold idle. After it's started and I drive it for a while and park and start it again later even after a few hours it starts fine..

Wondering now if it is the iacv cause I'm having the same issue.. I'm gonna disconnect it and see what happens when I start it I'm guessing if it still has issues starting it just might be the iacv?

sounds to me like your iac might be on its way out.

Hmm maybe, I'm also using a outlaw engineering gasket kit which uses a thick thermal spacer for the iacv now I'm wondering since it worked fine when I had it on the skunk 2 pro series manifold that when I upgraded to the ultra street manifold maybe the new location the iacv is relocated at might have an effect on my cold morning starts because of the thick thermal spacer I have on and or the valve is just on its way out. I'll try taking off the spacer and clean out the valve and see what happens.

make sure your valve has the screen filter on it.thats what keeps it from getting gunked up.
