what would a quick setting be on some pro 1s with golden eagle cam gears? i know i must degree them, but just want to get it idling to do a few checks before going to the dyno to degree the cams and dyno. so lets sy u have a set pro 1s installed with ge gears. whats ur settings? i would just like to get in the ballpark. thanks

So why don't you then just set them with degree wheel? Then fine tune it in dyno, depending how your clearances allow that.

I think that it is quite hard to anybody give any "quick settings", without knowing anything about that specific engine. There is couple variable which effect, like clearances (p2v, v2v), block and head machining, gasket thickness.

And you can make it idle in various cam positions, so it isn't problem.

I set mine to 0 and was fine, went to the dyno and my tunner adjusted them.
