and the B18C1 block has been bored .20 over so i believe that is now 81.5mm
so with the B16A head still stock ..would the headgasket be different? what headgasket?

civic timing belt: 14400-P2T-004 BELT, TIMING (124RU26 D-130)
gsr timing belt: 14400-P72-014 BELT, TIMING (126RU26)
im assuming that the 124 and 126 is the number of teeth
since the single cam shows BELT, TIMING (104RU24 GB-333) which would be 104 teeth.
makes sense?
head gasket
honda civic: 12251-P30-014 GASKET, CYLINDER HEAD (NIPPON LEAKLESS)
GSR : 12251-P30-014 GASKET, CYLINDER HEAD (NIPPON LEAKLESS)
seems to be same.
i used a 99 civic si and 99 gsr hatch for reference
the stock headgasket is overbored. when i measured mine it red 81.6 so that was enough for the overbore

generally speaking, if that bolt is broken, you'll be more prone to oil leaks there. So many people improperly torque those bolts too, 12mm = 20ft lbs, 10mm = 86 inch pounds...big difference.

Re: poorman type r ...which headgasket and timing belt?
I'm doing a poorman type r motor as well. I'm getting ready to send it to the machine shop to get bored/honed/hot tanked etc... but I was told that since im running the gsr block that i need to use the gsr timing belt. Since it's using the gsr oil/water pump and all b series cam gears are the same number of teeth, so the gsr timing belt must be using because the b16 is slightly too small
