J30A1 upgrade
After reading the wikipedia article on the Honda J-series engines, I am inclined to believe that swapping the intake manifold on my J30A1 with the one from the J30A5, and putting a less restrictive exhaust on will give me performance gains. Anybody have experience with this? (any suggestions/criticism is welcome)

I know next to nothing about j swaps. But I do know less restrictive exhaust always increases horsepower on any motor. flow=power. As for the intake manifolds, maybe someone w/ experience can chime in. Try posting this in the drag racing forum as well.

If it's a DISTRIBUTOR motor I have a plug and play programer for it cheap !
If you want bolt ons ! eBay headers $50bucks a 3" exhaust and intake . Also there is alum crank pulleys they make a big diffrence on the J series.
If you can yank the motor do the J32A2 there like $200 bucks lol.
