Default F20 engine

Hi, guys my name is Yani and i'm from Bulgaria. So i'm planing to make mine f20a4 engine a little bit different, now i'm using h23 ecu intake and exhsaust manifold and no balancer valve's 240cc inj with regulator and fuel pump from lancia integrale. My next plan is to port and polish the head using bigger valves from h23 maybe thats my first queston and the next queston is what pistons to use to get bigger compression. My english is not goot but i guess that you will understand me guys. The car will be used for street and some time atack and after some races will go to the next level what will be hill climb. The coupe is Rover 620si

Welcome aboard

What is your budget for this build? what are you planning to use for tuning?

You will find that the majority of members are from North America and the F20A4 wasn't a common engine over here. With that being said I am sure there are similarities between the F20A4 and the F22B2.

Bore is the same size so there are a few F22 builds that use 86mm K20 pistons for a bump in compression and displacement.

What size are the F20 valves? You would probably be better off with a set of F22 valves vs H23. The DOHC H23 valves aren't the same length or valve stem diameter.

The F22A/B Non VTEC SOHC
Intake valves: 34mm diameter, 5.5mm stem, 112mm overall length
Exhaust valves: 29mm diameter, 5.5mm stem, 123.5mm overall length

H23 Non VTEC DOHC
Intake valves: 34mm diameter, 6.5mm stem, 103.6mm overall length
Exhaust valves: 29mm diameter, 6.5mm stem, 102.7mm overall length

My budget for the engine is around 400$.I will measure my valves and i guess i will use the f22 valves i think the engines are the same too with the f22a4 difference are very small too.Well will se what hapeend i think the car will output around 150-160WHP with 200+ nm.
What doyo think for the engine block guard i have one for f22, i think to use it.
This is the car.

Undercover here :D
